I am talking about all the crap that’s spoken on social media. All the hatred being passed both ways. I’m not and have never mentioned if what the left and right specifically are saying as I think most of it is emotional crap. If you think both sides aren’t abusing this then that’s your opinion.

I also haven’t mentioned any leaders and what they have specifically said whether they be right or left.

Also a living wage is not the fight of the left or the right, it’s people’s views on what is enough. You don’t agree or disagree with that if you voted Tory or Labour you can have an opinion either way.

Anyway, UNSUBTLE CHANGE OF SUBJECT, Seth Abramson is no fan of Trump (has written several books about how he's a complete cunt, etc) but he's started going through and analysing Trumps speech before the riot, in detail. He's been at it for five hours and the thread is 170+ posts long.

Clearly he has a perspective he's working from, but some of his insights on the language and framing used are extremely sharp - be interesting to see how those points would be rebutted in as they are, upon reflection, quite self evident.

I'd recommend skipping this thread till tomorrow, as I suspect he has a few hours left yet. But it's definitely an interesting read.
