☹️☹️ M140i sent back to repairer as they've fitted an incorrect tyre ☹️☹️

Should have fitted F1 Supersport but fitted F1 Asy5. Numpties at Kwik-fit to blame. Nevermind. I've still got the GLC to run around in so it's no problem.
Wish they make them in sizes for the GT3. Ditto Michelin PS4S :|

The 245/35R18 rears are out of stock everywhere and I've not got much tread left. Luckily a crash and lockdown have extended the life of them 🤣. Hopefully some available in the next few days so I'll be buying a pair as soon as I can and stashing them!

I'd have liked to have tried PS4S if they were in my size but sadly not.

Yeah I read really good reviews on the Goodyear Supersport, so was hoping they offered the right size but unfortunately not.

Very limited choices for 295/30/18

Exactly. I'd emailed them as I knew they put the wrong tyre on. I told them type and spec and "Not Runflat!!" At least they got the RF bit right 😂

Camper in for a service and MOT.

Since I had it remapped, noticed the turbo seems to be getting a bit noisy so getting that Looked at, it’s the 2.5 and the turdbo appears to be original, it’s on 129k but drives great, will see if there’s any play in the shafts and replace/ rebuild accordingly.

Merc also in for service and MOT today. Have an A-Class saloon Manuel as a courtesy car. It's a year since my left leg has been so busy.

Think that’s the same as the rears on my 996, I ended up going for N rated Michelin PS2’s all round, they are ok, nothing amazing

Car has been returned today with correct tyre fitted 🎉
After a month away from it I really appreciated some WOT on the back roads around where I live just now. It's a little rocket.

Yeah PS2s have been around for 15yrs? Shame we can’t get something more modern.

Got Cup2s on mine but they scare me on wet motorway and they are rubbish when the condition is cold AND wet/damp.

The tread pattern is old but I was led to believe they use the current compounds.

Yep. Porsche still do development work with tyre manufacturers on old model fitments.

The freshly rebuilt Transit passed yesterday with no advisories, which was nice.

The driveway is starting to look a bit sparse. There's only one way to fix that 8-)

I have brownie points for buying the wife a new MINI and getting rid of the “smelly” Touareg. There’s only space for two cars in the garage though and I don’t want to sell either of them. Extra storage required.

E39 purred its way onto the trailer to be taken away, gutted and the bits exported.

Guy paid in cash and wanted to shake my hand.

Cash has been quarantined by the Mrs, she is wise.

Now to try and recover the eBay fees for the series of auctions that didn't in the end actually sell the car.

It'll miss it, and can get wistful about how "they don't make me like they used to"
