GWS to the Mikstress.
You should have said. I'd have written a letter of recommendation allowing you in the this beautiful place to save having a test. 😂

I thought Gavster was going to be on his own today, but it turns out he’s with a burd he met on Tinder a couple of weeks ago and hadn’t told us about 8-)

Hope Mrs Mik has a swift recovery, Mik.

Since I didn’t make it across the border before Nicola put up the barriers, I’ve been flying solo this year. Having a rare old time with a massive bit of fillet, all the usual trimmings and a great bottle of red however.

I don’t know where I’m going to put dessert.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Oh balls - oh well - your Christmas present seems to be COVID immunity. Hope it’s a mild case and you all feel better soon.

Thanks for all the Mrs mik well-wishes.

The good news is that - with some washing up and item-slicing assistance, she managed to complete all the planned cooking. Roast beef, ham, roasters, pigs in blankets, cauli cheese, carrots, parsnips, and some veggie sausages plus an aubergine and mushroom bake for a veggie guest.

She ate well but is now zonked and gone for a nap.

My youngest got me Nathan Pyle’s first Strange Planet book which I am having to try really hard not to consume today. Much amusement.

Merry Christmas all 🎄

Just the two of us this year, it's been quite refreshing not having to rush around visiting various relatives.
