Honestly though, just a reasonable font, flipped, would work just as well and require a lot less fiddling on behalf of whomever does it.

Sorry but that’s terrible. A logo needs to be clean, you can have one of the characters substituted for a very simplified engine/component but there’s no way we can take over the world with that.

You can have the O be a tyre laying down a skid and the V9 sitting above the skid. Coz we all love skidz.

Nice idea but needs to be more stylised. I like the idea above of a tyre, or how about a brake disk for an O? TBH I don’t even know what that O is! (Wankel engine?)

I suppose my only real criticisms would be that the image really needs to be landscape to work at the top of the forum and I suppose it does look a bit like Steve M's hand and the number 09 unless you know what you're looking for.
