This seems a bit of alright![]()
I was enjoying a p-ride in Nef’s Westie when one of these came on track. No idea if it was std but it romped off on every straight. Nef was quicker on the bends and took huge chunks out of it on the brakes, so we had about 3 laps before traffic split them up. Looked fab on track.

Well you seem to have limitless cash, so go for it!
Re: Today’s want
That body with the wide arches looks fantastic. Is that a modified Scimitar chassis or just bespoke with the only Scimitar but being the basic body shell?

I'm not a total Reliant anorak yet (yet....), so I don't know all the ins-and-outs but it looks fundamentally standard, just with the front & rear overhang removed to save weight. Not surprising at the rear because the fuel tank has been moved and you're not likely to fill the boot with luggage (!) but I wonder if the front has some alternative lightweight structure in place to support the body.Jobbo wrote: Sat Nov 28, 2020 4:26 pm That body with the wide arches looks fantastic. Why meow?! You have lots of nice quite expensive cars and don't seem to be slowing down buying more!

Oh. I gave the Q7 back in the end and got a refund, not sure if you caught that. I'm back to using the Touareg again. Neither expensive nor particularly nice !

but you have an Aston Martin, a 911, a 7 series, a etc... you're definitely not short of nice cars and you're saying you're on the look out for a Ferrari 360 too.Sundayjumper wrote: Sat Nov 28, 2020 4:58 pm Oh. Looks like it had a whoopsie back in 2009. But that's what happens in racing.

Re: Today’s want
Your Golf & 3-Series are probably worth more than my 911 & 7-Series ! We'll ignore the Aston, but that's probably only around £25k now.Rich B wrote: Sat Nov 28, 2020 5:03 pm but you have an Aston Martin, a 911, a 7 series, a etc... you're definitely not short of nice cars and you're saying you're on the look out for a Ferrari 360 too.
The 360 is a long game. I don't want to spend much over £40k and they're not quite there yet. Prices are unlikely to go *up* in the near future so I'm happy to bide my time.

Re: Today’s want
Spotted for sale on Facebook; there’s some want, but more for a normal bodied Jimny like mine but with similar mods:

The front wings with wide arches are particularly nice.

Wide arches are always a good thing.
Re: Today’s want
I love that. I’d be happy enough with the wee traybed.Jobbo wrote: Sun Nov 29, 2020 9:30 am Spotted for sale on Facebook; there’s some want, but more for a normal bodied Jimny like mine but with similar mods:
