Wheely dealys
Wheely dealys
It’s that time of year again. Logitech G29 and G920 are down to £160, or £190 with the shifter. Amazon although lots of other places doing similar prices too.

I'd say the shifter is a must have if you have space. I'm considering a handbrake addition to my rig at some point.simon_g wrote: Fri Nov 20, 2020 9:04 am It’s that time of year again. Still got my G29 and shifter rig in the lounge, I'll have another play with GT Sport on my Xmas break I reckon. Toying with upgrading to a full seat rig and shifting the whole lot into the dining room (with its own TV) as I just don't use the dining rm for eating anyway. On the Concept2 waiting list too, so that can go in there.
tl;dr G29 still a good package IMO, well worth it at those prices.

Re: Wheely dealys
Was wondering about the shifter, assumed I'd just go on using paddles like the shoulder buttons on a controller but for £30 I guess it's worth trying.
Is there a folding stand that's not terrible for much less than the wheel costs?

Did I read on here that the G29 is terrible with Forza?
Re: Wheely dealys
Ive got the 920 with the shifter.
I can also recommend the Playseat Challenge.

Re: Wheely dealys
What's the difference between them? Different compatability?
Re: Wheely dealys
G29 is PlayStation compatible + PC
G920 is Xbox + PC
They’re pretty good all round and they’re such a common wheel that they’re plug and play unlike the more specialist stuff where you have to spend an hour setting them up each time a game updates which ruins the experience.

How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Wheely dealys
I might get a 920 to use with Forza then.
