It is £2.5k more than a base M140i and has £2075 of extras to spread over the contract length also. Only one on contracthireandleasing.com based upon the quote terms is £409+vat with no extras. They add up to £80 a month.

Anyway it doesn't really matter as the company is paying and the real haggling will begin when a choice is made by me.
Do you pay the BIK on top of this? You may have already thought about leasing it yourself but that will almost certainly be cheaper. Apologies if 20 people have said that already.

Golf R?

Company leases the car and I just pay BIK.

I left the Golf R out to see how long it'd take for someone to mention it :-) Specced up to what I'd want it was a bit cheeky on BIK and more than the M140i or S3

could you take the cash instead of them leasing the car?

Collected an M140i this morning and have had a blast today. What a cracking little car! It's plenty fast and great fun. 8-) 8-) 8-)

Got it until Friday lunchtime which is nice. Going to head out for an early morning blast out into the sticks tomorrow.

Had a lovely run up to Hawes, across the Buttertubs and then to Richmond for breakfast this morning. Awesome weather and scenery with a cracking little car.

I don't want to give it back!

I’m glad we’re keeping up the tradition of naming our preference in the first post, asking for comment and then getting the car we wanted in the first place! 😎
Cheers,

Cherry one the top was getting a new tumble drier in the back this afternoon showing it can be a practical family car! Going to have a look at an S3 too when a dealer near me has one free. Had a ding dong with one today out of some motorway 50mph road works with a clear road ahead. He got the drop on me but didn't pull away and I eased off when things were getting really silly as bans and big fines are not on my wish list.

My C220d is going to feel properly slow tomorrow!

Still doing plenty of driving! Not as much as years gone by but still done 80,000 miles on the C Class in 29 months. I pay for my own fuel and claim back or the business mileage which for the M140i is 22p per mile compared to 13p in the Merc.

The above roads are fantastic - some of my favourite :D

Which dealer gave you an M140i on loan? The reason I ask is that one is on the short-list to replace my current car.

BMW Leeds. As a company car driver dealing with the business sales managers they'll lend you stuff for a while so I'd suggest borrowing one under the guise of a new company car. They asked no questions other than when do you want it and how long for.

Volvo and Lexus will usually lend stuff for 4-5 days and Merc are very similar to BMW

The M140i hasn't got long left so there seem to be some good 1.9%apr deals with big discounts and or deposit contributions so it's a good time to get one before they go to 2l 4 banger and 4wd 😭
