Heard that last night. I only really recall seeing him on Whose Line where he was quick, but I think he wrote for Spitting Image too ? (Edit: the BBC link confirms that - duh).

Not old enough.

This is pretty much my take on it too.
If you get all wobbly-lipped about the opinion of Internet strangers, maybe it's time to take a bath with the toaster as you'll never amount to sh1t anyway.

He was on QI a lot in the earlier days - when you look back there's a stark difference to what QI became. The likes of John Sessions were not only funny, but also incredibly intelligent, with some genuinely interesting facts and stories to impart.

He was also a great actor, both in comedy and serious roles. Had a habit of popping up in series you wouldn't expect, such as Rab C Nesbitt, Friday Night Dinner, Shameless etc.

I mainly remember him from Whose Line, but really enjoyed Stella Street, with Mick & Keith’s corner shop which I thought was properly genius.
