Seems like a race best watched on highlights. Really feel for George there, very likely to have scored his first points otherwise. :(

Good race (on highlights) - Hamilton had the luck but it was good to see Kvyat, Ricciardo, Perez And verstappen igniting their battles. Albon is just getting worse though.

Helmut marko has pretty much confirmed Yuki Tsunoda will be racing alongside gasley next year, and that kvyats performance today makes no difference to his keeping the seat now or in the future- both in interviews with sky sports Germany

Anyone watch the Bottas on-board on inters for FP3? It's about as close as you're going to get to an F1 car rallying. Impressive car contol from VB though.

Hopefully it won’t be on those sessions which keeps getting delayed, only for running to resume and Giovinazzi to spear off the track with another 20 minute red flag - rinse and repeat 😂

My colleague informed me yesterday that they closed the bridge over the Bosphorous yesterday to allow them to fanny about on it (may be my words as opposed to his)

If anyone has ever tried to travel around in Instanbul - you will appreciate the carnage this must have caused....

Spoiler
Stroll on pole, there's an unexpected outcome!
That was a rather chaotic qualifying session!

It’s still not a certain result it seems - many people set personal best laps under double yellows which is a slam dunk penalty.

It's almost like they don't give a flying fuck about anything other than promoting themselves.

Wow, what a shock. it's almost like F1 is the sport of narcissist cockends.

Was quite fun wasn’t it.

Spent a lot of it thinking Verstappen was mercurial and then realising it just really about which car turns on the tyres when Stroll got pole 😂

He did best Perez though so Kudos for that.

Maybe Merc should pull last years car out of retirement for the race...

Those are the old V8 cars. If that’s meant to be a promo to entice the public to pay to attend future races then there’s surely a bit of misrepresentation going on if they’re using the awesome sound of the V8s as a selling point...
