Re: Your fleet running reports
Do you just pull away in 4th in that and then pop it in 6th on the motorway

Awesome
That or an LSx equipped XJS would definately be on my ideal conversion list. If I knew how to do it. Or had time. Or money. Or space. Or skills.

It's got a Texas Speed one in it apparently, the previous owner said he put it in to give the motor a bit more character

Re: Your fleet running reports
I'd heard the name Spazda but knew nothing of it's spec; I didn't expect that

Re: Your fleet running reports
Indeed. I toyed over a cam on the VXR8 almost the entire 5 yrs of ownership. An extra 50-60bhp without going to anything extreme._andy wrote: Tue Oct 27, 2020 9:47 pmIt's got a Texas Speed one in it apparently, the previous owner said he put it in to give the motor a bit more characterYou can make all sorts of power on these with just a cam swap (and springs too of course).

Galaxy now sporting its new (used) N/S side mirror. It was incredibly easy. Remove two trim pieces and nine screws (two different head patterns, three sizes) and the whole door panel lifts off, giving access to the bolt holding the mirror on.
Start to finish took less than 20 minutes.
Edit: forgot to put a little soft pad back on, so had to take it apart again. And, obviously, in so doing lost a tiny screw cap.

Is that something to do with the design lifecycle?DeskJockey wrote: Wed Oct 28, 2020 10:25 am and the whole door panel lifts off, giving access to the bike holding the mirror on.

Found the little plastic thingy! It fell out of my hoodie when I bent down.
Similar items seem to go for a tenner in eBay, so happy to not have to spend that.

Are they magic washes like wishes?Broccers wrote: Wed Oct 28, 2020 2:17 pm
No stripes, just outlines where they were on the roof. Apparently will disappear after 3 washes.
T-cut.
Cheers.

Those hand car wash places will sort that out. The tfr they use is basically diluted acid
How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Your fleet running reports
I was thinking that - originally I thought it was their spray that fucked the 3m vinyl however it was just the bonnet so we deduced it was the extra heat from my chipped turbo.Mito Man wrote: Thu Oct 29, 2020 12:00 pm Those hand car wash places will sort that out. Re: Your fleet running reports
It lasted 10 years which is good going for a wrap. I wanted the roof on my Defender wrapped but was told it would only last 5 years so cheaper long term to just get it painted.
