And yet... people still pull out in front of you even on these. It does properly shit them up though once they do clock it, so there is that.

Oh we're supposed to have licenses before buying bikes?ste wrote: Mon Jun 25, 2018 11:16 amWell I haven't had time to even book a CBT or theory yet, so I'm trying not to get ahead of myself.JLv3.0 wrote: Mon Jun 25, 2018 10:22 am How are those bikes you've not got on your watch list working out?![]()
Having said that, my brother decided to get his arse into gear at the same time I did and picked his new bike up at the weekend. I think the Caterham is kinda blocking progress. If I didn't have that sat there I'd be more incentivised to push the bike thing along quicker.

That’s frustrating. Returning it or do you think it will polish out?
Also - is that a pipe inside a pipe inside a carbon housing? To save weight?
Is that like a 3-bird roast? (Like people make at Christmas, as opposed to the perverse thought that just enters your head when you read that).

The company also sent me an email to ask me to review my experience with them. They’ll regret that.
The pipe inside the pipe is the DB killer. That will be coming out before being fitted.

Is this a good looking bike? I don’t know whether I like it because the livery caught my eye

That’s a 2001-2003 Suzuki GSXR1000 (same shape as my 2001 750). I think they’re a bit boring looking but that’s probably because they’re in that “too old to look fashionable, too new to look cool” phase. That paint job does that bike no favours. I’ve seen better versions of it.240PP wrote: Mon Jun 25, 2018 7:24 pm Is this a good looking bike? I don’t know whether I like it because the livery caught my eye

This 'what is a good-looking bike' thing is really getting people stuck, isn't it.

It’s not the most exciting looking bike I’ve seen, it just stood out so I took a pic.
Maybe if the back seat thing was covered with a thing /non-bike person

That's as difficult as I think the issue should be, but others seem to disagree.NotoriousREV wrote: Mon Jun 25, 2018 7:36 pmIf you think it looks good, it’s a good looking bike, I guess?JLv3.0 wrote: Mon Jun 25, 2018 7:34 pm This 'what is a good-looking bike' thing is really getting people stuck, isn't it.

Looking at it again, if it was just a single colour I wouldn’t have given it a second glance.

Sportsbikes are rarely a single colour.

Ducatis normally are and I guess that's what most people think of when they think of sports bikes. Ah who knows.

ETA as already said, it’s not rocket science. If it looks good to you, it’s a good looking bike. Interesting to know what constitutes a good looking bike to a bike person though.
