Re: Gt3 Mk1 prices
I nearly bought one for 40k when I bought my Tuscan, which must have been about 2005, the Tuscan was only £16k mind

Re: Gt3 Mk1 prices
Not relevant to the question, but along the lines of Foz's experience, I remember Northway had a GT3 for £30K in late 2011 when I bought my C2 from them for £13.5k. There was something odd about the spec IIRC but it wasn't totally suspiciously cheap and Northway are a legit company.
At the time Jobbo said I should buy it but unfortunately I didn't have an extra £20k lying around back then.

"but he knows its time for someone else to enjoy her"
Just sounds like some sort of coded swingers ad.
That one looks like a very good price indeed for the mileage, the ones I'd seen at the 50-60K pricing generally had a lot more miles on them.

Re: Gt3 Mk1 prices
i want to own one for a year. I suspect it will be too hard for day to day use tho.
Re: Gt3 Mk1 prices
That’s good price for a Comfort with buckets in an attractive colour.
Re: Gt3 Mk1 prices
Bills are not much different to 996 Carrera; these cars are 15+ years old now so some sort of rolling restoration never hurts (esp if it’s a keeper, which mine is).
I wouldn’t use a 996 GT3 as a ‘daily’ though.

Putting mk1 prices to the side for the second... 991.1s seem incredible value compared to the 996s: https://www.ashgood.co.uk/vehicle-detai ... Sale-U2063
At or below the pricing of most 997.2 GT3s as well. I guess people liked their GT3s with manual boxes...
Kind of silly as the only car I'd feasibly trade up to would be a 991.1 GTS with a manual box and they are as near as makes no difference the same price as a GT3 because of how few they made

Re: Gt3 Mk1 prices
Didn't the 991 GT3 have engine issues? Maybe enough to put buyers off which has softened values
Re: Gt3 Mk1 prices
Ahh yes. I forgot about that. They fixed them under recall though (remember Hammond's going back a few days after delivery ) so I suspect not an issue now.

991.2 manual for the win!GG. wrote: ↑Fri Oct 16, 2020 8:49 am Putting mk1 prices to the side for the second... 991.1s seem incredible value compared to the 996s: https://www.ashgood.co.uk/vehicle-detai ... Sale-U2063

Also same re the GTS, the one I would have, not a fan of the 997 do would skip that gen..
Re: Gt3 Mk1 prices
I still like the 991.1; I think it looks great and makes great engine/intake noise.
G-series engines are ok and if you don’t track the car much.
But yeah 991.2 are the daddies.
