Yep - our holiday in October just got cancelled. No mixing of different families inside in Scotland. Thanks Nicola - I'll bill you for the £500 lost deposit.

I wonder if that will extend to all the kids clubs that have started up again.

Welp, on a far more important note, I think I'm finally past the 'Rona.

I think back to the office tomorrow regardless of how I feel though, because it's not like I'm getting rested at home, might as well have someone else pay for the heating and coffee.

Assuming we don't all get locked down again. sigh...

You don't get a negative test, you just self isolate for the ten days since symptoms began etc.

Actually - it isn't clear whether two families not from Scotland could stay in self-catering accommodation in Scotland. Regulations don't get published till Friday so in the absence of further clarification I guess we'll need to wait until then.

ETA: Looks like we may possible be exempt: https://www.assc.co.uk/new-coronavirus- ... JuKL_CRJYg

What does this mean for hotels in Scotland then? We're supposed to be away at Gleneagles in a few weeks... Confined to room in the hotel itself with room service I guess.
Cheers,

Mike.

Pub rules are now silly with face masks needed apart from when you are sat at your designated table.

Hotel probably going to be the same apart from your room or seat. Loads of fun.

I wonder if that will extend to all the kids clubs that have started up again.
Maxwell just got back in the sports centre doing his Tan Su Do but it’s looking like it will be back to Zoom lessons again :(

It’s only a minor thing but it was a small step back to normality.

Another thing that needs fast clarification or should have been clear in the first place. Our local karate club has also been back with socially distanced training for a month now after Zoom classes between March and August. The specific reference to "team" sports seems to not be applicable for martial arts as far as I can see.

Had to use this to get in the gym. Seems like quite a good app. Also the next step of the big plan to control people in your area.

Yep, that'll be widespread very soon. One of my mates had to have it to buy a takeaway burrito today.

Its also interesting the permissions it gives itself. All now turned off, including the bluetooth that detects people you have passed that have tested positive. Only a matter of time before you're advised to stay at home for 14 days.
