BMW has always discounted big but over 30% off a delivery mile car is taking the Michael.

It’s nothing new though is it.
M cars have had big discounts once the launch hype goes for at least five years.
My old business partner got 25% off an M5 in 2016 and I got 23% off my M140 in 2017.

They cost very little extra to make than a comparable spec *20d, so have massive margin in for the manufacturer.

Good residuals and BMWs haven’t existed since they became high volume in the early 2000s.

I almost posted similar on the thread about the planned M3 Touring and its likely list price as I'm assuming M's still lose about 25-30% the minute you drive a new one off the lot?
Cheers,

Mike.

Their continual tagging of higher profile people on every tweet annoys me.

I wonder if that's my local Marshall BMW.

End of life, big recession, pics and ads out for the new M4 already so it better be discounted heavily.
How about not having a sig at all?

Knowing the sales manager helps! But there’s always loads of money off M or M-lites after a year or so if you shop around. I think my old business partner got about £24k off the current M5 last September, and it had only been out about a year. The monthly payment was the same as refinancing the balloon on the existing car.

Yep M5 deals have been impressive over the last year or so. I was offered a new (non-comp) M5 last year for just over £65k IIRC. RRP was £90k.
