Are the normal Alfa Giulias any good?
Only seen / read stuff about the four cheeses version and nothing about the normal range.
I regularly see a dark grey one and think it looks good, nice and low and squat like sport spec BMW’s used to.
They do a 280bhp 2.0 petrol, can add an lsd with a £1600 performance pack. Specced to how I’d want it is about £45k which seems fairly reasonable value.
Not that I’m going to buy a new one, just wondered if they were any good and shared some sporty dna, or wether the quadrifoglio was a one off fluke.

I had on one demo for a few days before I got the M140i. They drive really well but I just didn't enjoy the whole car and I (used to
) spend my working life in the car.
I remember finding the seats uncomfortable, my polarised sunglasses rendered the infotainment screen unusable, the infotainment wasn't as good as Merc or idrive, rear room was poor, boot opening was small and it generally wasn't as pleasant a place to while away the hours as one of the German equivalents.
They look great and drive well and I'm sure can be had for a bargain on the 2nd hand market.

Is it wrong to say I like the look of the Stelvio?

My plan was to buy a Veloce after I sold the Evora, but decided to hold onto the Up due to my commute.
The Performance Pack is really rare, I couldn't find any for sale when I looked. Many are pauper spec to due to being leased and (I think) the options taking them over the £40k bracket with tax.
The new Veloce Ti looks FG, but currently they're quite expensive as only came out recently. They're one of the nicest looking saloons by far, even in base spec.

Well, people were drooling over that Aston thing the other day so liking the stelvio doesn’t feel quite so bad now

Ah, we can get a white one and call it Hedwig. (blame my obsessed daughter for that reference)

I've just seen on the cover of Auto Express they have a buying guide for the Giulia.
