Bought some 16" BBS wheels from FB marketplace. All looked good, bit scruffy but nothing a refurb wouldn't sort. Took a while to find any in the right offset/pcd/width that would clear the caliper and didn't look chavvy.
Took for a refurb, tyres purchased in the meantime - but after they stripped them back to metal, found they're all buckled

So I can either:
Bail out now for £120, weigh in the scrap wheels and have £300's worth of tyres to sell;
Pay £650 in refurb+repair fees for wheels that'll be worth half that;
Paint as is, and they'll do their best to balance them and I can "see how it goes" and repair later if needed...
