Re: Expensive service

What Merc do you have? Mine has the foot operated parking brake which needs adjusting and I was wondering it it's a job I can do or if it needs to go somewhere.

Not eBay, but THIS is a slightly-leggy (but with FSH) bargain for someone!

Still accepting orders on the website. Schmee reckoned his was going to be delivered this year, can’t see that happening when the mags haven’t even driven one.

Re: Airpods Alternatives

These 1more "Stylish" arrived this morning, and I've been listening for about 30 minutes. Initial impressions: - the box and general presentation is very nice - they'd make a nice present - feels quite posh/expensive - the case is nice and small, matt/rubbery finish, only micro-USB which is a shame...

Person with actual racing car buys system to simulate racing cars...
It's the off-season. Not much opportunity to drive the actual race car until March (even if it wasn't getting ripped to bits for a ground-up rebuild).
I was just joshing, I'd have a setup if I had the space

Re: Electrical oddness.

Does the mower have partially insulated pins and the drier not? https://johnlewis.scene7.com/is/image/JohnLewis/231577941alt1?$rsp-pdp-port-1440$ Either that or you’ve got a short inside the mover plug that closes up in the vertical orientation of the socket and opens when it’s horizontal in the ex...

Bent pin that on the mower that the socket is sympathetic to, but not the extension.
That would be logical but the mower has never been unplugged from the extension before this so no opportunity for it to get bent!

Electrical oddness.

Plugged the lawnmower in only to find it was dead, maybe an issue with the extension, unplugged lawnmower from extension, plugged tumble dryer into it, dryer works fine. Not an issue with the extension then, must be lawnmower, plug lawnmower into the same socket the extension was in, lawnmower works...

Given the recent polling suggested 2/3's of the population wanted the current deal passed - that would romp home if you gave the opti...
