Well it didn’t work. Nothing left to try now.

Re: Is someone here a sign writer?
I wonder if it is UV discolouration but for the area where the sign was. In that case I'm not sure how possible it would be to fix that.
Rear screen off eBay not an option? I'm sure not the cheapest solution but may be by the time you factor in your own sanity!
I’m leaning towards UV damage ...

Re: Is someone here a sign writer?
That’s the annoying thing, I can’t tell so I’ve tried everything on both sides.DeskJockey wrote: Mon Oct 13, 2025 2:50 pm That was @Gwaredd, but it has been yonks since he was on here.
Stupid question: which side of the glass was it on? Could the residue be on the inside?

Is someone here a sign writer?
If memory serves someone on here does or did sign writing. I have an issue I can’t solve, the previous owner of my car had the name of their business on the rear screen. It’s been removed before I got it and is invisible until the sun hits it at a certain angle then you can see the wording clearly ...

Re: Decent car YouTubes
I see Mat Armstrong is trying to buy a Chiron. If he gets it, which seems unlikely given Bugattis restrictions, I can’t see where his channel could go from there.
Into bankruptcy proceedings?
It’s obviously being funded from somewhere, I doubt he’s earning enough to be able to spunk a ...

Re: Decent Recent TV
I'm really enjoying Alien Earth although that eyeball mini-octopus thing is absolute nightmare fuel.
I binge watched Dexter Resurrection this weekend... I was a big fan of the original (until it went shit) and the New Blood one was done surprisingly well if you just ignore how we get there ...

Spinal Tap 2
If you have affectionate memories of the first Tap film then you should enjoy this, it’s got some great gags and some absolutely stellar cameos from the biggest names in music. It does help if you are already in on the jokes from the first film, but overall it’s a witty and ...

Started watching The Naked Gun, turned it off after 10 minutes. Utter drivel and an insult to the original.

Re: Teh Spotted Thread
Not a car spotted, but a train. To celebrate 200 years since Stockton and Darlington railway first ran a passenger rail locomotive they’ve made a working replica of locomotion no.1 and ran it from Darlington to Stockton to kind of replicate the journey (only parts of the existing route still exist ...

Looking impressive, first I've heard of it, when is it due for release? Looks to be a while off the way he was talking.

If I was buying a car like that I wouldn’t consider it, I was just surprised they offered such a small engine.

Iron Maiden on the BBC
Well there’s a first, the Flight 666 film is on BBC2 at 10pm, it follows them on the Somewhere back in time world tour, the first time they flew Ed Force One. It’s a great watch if you haven’t seen it.
