Re: Ferrari Luce Reveal

Looks like it should be a Lancia and about a quarter of the price.

Love the philosophy of the interior design though, hope that gets applied on more models and by other brands.

5 points to anyone who noticed that Option2 was my (sketchy memory) attempt to recreate JL’s withering guidance to RogerTVR in relation to his fashion choices. That’s a few years ago now….

Wasn't it Cerbyman? Had a 300C with Bentley style grill IIRC. Unless RogerTVR = Cerbyman... I can't keep ...

I ain't paying that much! It was inevitable it was going to happen though.

I did an EOI on the CW website when they launched and recently got an email saying they are hoping to get info on new colour options out in the next few weeks and they hope to get one to everyone who wants one in the ...

Re: Estate Agent fees - what is everyone paying?

I'm looking to sell the apartment that I used to live in, which I've been renting out since moving to London.
Was quoted 0.85%+VAT plus £250 for photos etc. This was by the agency that have been managing the rental for me, they say that for this reason they're giving me a discount from their normal ...

I really like the front-end and the Daytona middle section, but the back just looks a mess. Maybe its the two-tone colour exaggerating it in all the wrong places?

The one thing that I really don't like about the design is the exhaust pipes. I hate these little square things that look they're ...

H&M

I feel like the quality of H&M essentials has gone down over the last few years though. I've still got some of their £4 t-shirts / £9 long sleeve t-shirts that I bought pre COVID that are holding up strong, but ones I bought in the last couple of years already have holes in them. The colour ...

Re: Euromillions immediate purchase

I've no desire to buy a huge house in the countryside miles away from my friends or start living like a high roller. I'd probably put £1m or so on a nice but not extravagant two bedroom flat in Shoreditch. Would probably want to do a round the world trip before too long and would prioritise that ...

Yes, enjoyable but the sound is very poor isn’t it! Listening to it after Smith and Sniff makes it especially obvious and shows how it can be done much better

Smith and Sniff has terrible sound quality this week, but they recorded in person instead of their usual setup.

I listen to Collecting ...

Love Studio Underd0g's originality of design and sense of humour. Don't mind spending a bit more to support a fun British based design studio - product cost isn't all about the cost of parts and of course a British based company will have higher costs than a Chinese based one even if their parts are ...

Oh wow I had missed that.... I'd seen a few apartments for sale right by this location recently which seemed relatively good value for London, I guess now that it's cancelled they'll be unaffordable to me!

Re: Pie or no pie

I don't think we can define it as being encased in pastry because of shepherd's pie, fish pie etc., but a pastry lid on top on a dish of pie filling sounds pathetic.

A really big bugbear of mine since moving to London has been that it's literally impossible to find a decent pie at the supermarket ...
