Re: Teh Spotted Thread
1. A white 991 (non GT flavour) as I came through the Clyde tunnel. Commented to Mrs mik that you rarely see white non-GT 911s, and 15 seconds later a white 997 came the other way. 2. AC 3000. Never seen one before - only really recognised it due to a set of Top Trumps cards I had a a kid! Lib...

Re: Choose
I expect it’s an ornament as opposed to a driver
Either that or it’s all they could get after getting a puncture mid-drive, and they will OF COURSE replace it before pushing on.

Re: Bye Bye Sunak..
I’m not voting because I have some ridiculous notion that if turnout is historically low all the parties might have a think about why that might be and make some changes. I know they won’t, but none of them deserve the effort to get out and cross the box. That's is a ridiculous notion , but yo...

Re: Choose
T50 It's comes across as an F1 without the usabiliy compromises (IE better AC and brakes) and with an equally fucking crazy powerplant for the size of it. I can always buy an F1 later. Pretty much that for me. F1 has always been mighty, and hugely desirable but was never known as being friendly/for...

Re: Today’s want
In addition, DCT’s only work in single-gear intervals. From 7th gear to 6th, to 5th, to 4th, for example. If the driver is in 7th gear and wants 4th for maximum power, the DCT cannot pre-select 4th gear directly. The driver has to pass through 6th and 5th gears, wasting time and power. Is that stri...
Re: Cazoo
Cars didn’t even need to be faulty did they? I’m sure their advertising said you could return it if you didn’t like it, which at the time struck me as a handy way to hire a car for a week or so for free 😄 That. Argos had a similar 14-day no-quibble return process when I was at uni. I was limited by...

Inspired by click . The year? 2024 What the FUCK is going on? Calm down. Sorry about that - what's happening? You've just had a major Euromillions win. Re: Seatbelts on planes
What I've always wondered is how do the captains know when to instruct you to put the seatbelt on? Can you see it approaching? Is it data driven, or do you get a heads up from Fred 100km in front of you that their crew just lost their lunch? Pilots receive live data feeds from Global Weather Contro...

Will it get away with those arches for the road? They barely cover the wheels.
