Re: Changes at The Intercooler
I like Dan, but I've never really enjoyed watching/listening to MrF, hence I've never really bothered with The Intercooler.
Mr Frankel has a brother called Richard, so I think it's possible he's the investor. (edit: same gentleman mentioned in this article )

I've done the Postojna Cave tour in Slovenia. It's fascinating, but that's all big open spaces. No bodily squeezage required.

Re: Caving/Potholing/Spelunking
the idea of falling into a space you can't remove yourself from makes me feel very funny and would be my number one worst way to die.
Only kinda related, and it's decades since I read Deception Point by Dan Brown, but the description of the death of Dr Ming is still etched in my mind ...

Video series following the refurbishment of an abandoned Saab dealership. Quite interesting. Would love to do the same.

Caving/Potholing/Spelunking
I was sent a link to something on TokTik recently, so had to download the app to view. For some reason the algorithm has decided that I want to see copious stories/digital reinactments of horrific caving/potholing/spelunking incidents, which often become slow, lingering deadly tragedies. :? And ...

Hmm - worth trying some expanders before you chuck them?
Something like these? (Do these go big enough ?)
(Edit: and I guess it depends on the material too?)
clik

Re: How much do you spend on shoes?
I have a very similar pair of goretex Salmon walking shoes - I’m now all the way through the grips at the front, so will need to replace soon.
Edit : these ones in fact
So as noted earlier in this thread - I had these re-soled a couple of months back now. £45.
It's taken me this long to get ...

Chrrrrrist that's nasty. According to the description and comments he is alive (and was conscious in hospital) but it beggars belief you can survive that at all, never mind be conscious afterwards.
Those bits of car flying high into the air around the 10 second mark are pretty harrowing ...

Re: The Grand Throttle House Tour
I watched most of the first episode. First GT episode I've ever watched (not a Clarkson fan).
It felt a bit forced, but..... scripted stuff inevitably does. :? It wasn't offensively forced, so I'll stick with it.
I did get annoyed that Thomas was going on about how the Corvette didn't sound like ...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Napa are probably fine. They’re bread & butter level. I think I had something Napa on the MINI.
Are the discs coated / painted ? That’s one thing I don’t mind paying a couple of quid extra for.
MTEC definitely are, and a look at the Napa UK Website suggests that their discs are all coated ...

Re: Your fleet running reports
As for the brakes shouldn’t your car have 2 piece discs? I mean you may not care.
OEM fronts look like 2-piece, but in reality they aren't. Just the casting with "posts" to the rotor.

I did the fronts some time back (using MTEC ...

Any reason why I should not buy these rear discs & pads for mrs mik's Etron? I've never heard of Napa.

Jensen Interceptor Castrol GTX
(I may have added the word Castrol myself).
Hands up who thinks this homage to the inspired by aping details from the (timeless) original with a respectful nod will make it beyond a single prototype? Make it to a road version?

Customer (heavily) modified UltimaRS effectively on shakedown tests following some very track-focussed upgrades.
