Re: Cycling Thread
I don't think anyone will be seriously going for Pog at the Giro, barring mishaps it's his to lose, the others are racing for 2nd place.

250 GTOs are in the $50m+ so not inconceivable for a California to be that much

Re: It’s time for another forum cycle/vehicle disagreement
Equally though, would the driver have turned if that was a bus going down a bus lane? To be fair a 10 ton red bus is a little bit easier to spot than a cyclist who may have been in the blindspot. Yeah, that is a fair point and I think the cyclist spent a lot of time in the driver's blind spot

Probably! His awareness wasn't great.

Re: It’s time for another forum cycle/vehicle disagreement
Technically the driver, as he's turned across the cycle lane where the cyclist would have had priority. However, cycle lane had only just started so flying down it straight away was a bit silly when the car had just indicated to turn left. Cyclist by his own admission says he thought the driver was ...

Re: Tour de France 2023
https://twitter.com/faustocoppi60/status/1681334211230199808?s=20 Vingegaard has had 4 clean drugs tests in 2 days, the UCI are X-raying bikes to check for motors - all seems real. But some people still think his performance was too good to be true; so was Pogacar's in fact, but Vingegaard going so...

Re: Tour de France 2023
Agree, I'd rather see Poagcar win it and find him more charismatic. Vingegaard & Jumbo Visma seem to have taken the Froome/Team Sky approach and just tweaked it a bit, whereas Pogacar and UAE seem to go a bit more old school
I think we'll see them go all out today.

Re: Tour de France 2023
Yep, he gained more than a few seconds yesterday! Pogacar's all or nothing though, so might attack early, but I think Jumbo Visma have a good enough team to keep that under control.
I think Adam Yates is now too far back after the TT to attack and tempt Vingegaard into chasing.

Re: Tour de France 2023
I also think Pogacar's more explosive acceleration might see him gap Vingegaard on the Col de la Loze tomorrow. Will be interesting to see the tactics over the stage and whether Jumbo Visma drive it on and/or try and get someone in the breakaway

Re: Tour de France 2023
Hard to separate them today, but I think Vingegaard might take a few seconds, although the decision on a whether to do a big change before the final climb today might sway that.

I'm rooting for Pogacar.
Wednesday is also a massive day in the mountains, with some really steep sections on the Col de la Loze.

Re: Tour de France 2023
Watching as well. I can confirm from experience that the Col du Joux Plane is a horrible climb.
If they're all together as they go over the top of that I wouldn't bet against Tom Piddock. That said, I think Pogacar and Vingegaard will go off and drop the others.

I use a Garmin, so can't speak from experience, but have a look at Quad Lock for phone mounting.

Isn't the onus on the seller to prove the issue wasn't there if it occurs within 6 months of purchase?

Re: Which Grand Prix race to go and watch in person?
From personal experience: Monza. It's close enough to Milan that you can stay there and add a bit of a city break to it and get a wider selection of restaurants etc. It's then a short train ride to Monza with a shuttle bus, and a walk through the park to the track with the other fans. Not sure if it...

Re: Cheaper GoPro alternative?
I have an ApeMan: https://uk.apemans.com/collections/action-camera/products/action-camera-a100s It seems pretty good from the times I've used it, although I don't have a GoPro to compare it to. Battery life isn't amazing, but it does come with two of them and a huge array of mount and a remote contr...

I've just upgraded from a OnePlus 6 to a Pixel 6 Pro. Only thing I've really missed is the slider to put it on mute/vibrate
