Re: Microsoft Flight Simulator

Dell's can be tricky as the motherboards and bios' can often be bespoke.

The original graphics card is a standard GT620 not some dell only option?

According to here even a dinky GT1030 which is cheap n cheerful is a 300% upgrade. :o

“ Finally, a V-max mode works just like Streamline mode, but takes top speed over consumption and gives the car a 30bhp boost using the 48V starter motor.”
So 30hp boost for some Vmax running means a fairly chunky battery?

Re: Gordon Murray T50 Live Launch

The weight obsession is also a car enthusiast touchstone and I don't understand why more manufacturers aren't chasing it as a holy grail in efficiency, never mind performance. Because it's cheaper, easier and more marketable for most of them to add power, tyres and electrickery. Let's face it, prob...

Better bearings and switches and possibly software I guess. Reading about HOTAS use in Elite Dangerous people seem to break some brands regularly.

Re: Microsoft Flight Simulator

Unfortunately I don’t have a gaming PC at the moment, but I see its also due out on Xbox One at a later date. Wonder if it'll be enabled for any of the streaming services. Seems like a perfect fit if you've the internet connection to support it. I did have a laugh at the Buckingham housing estate a...

I hope the awkward frog in the headlights look of the front is just the photography.

Spec is truly astounding though. I can't get over that weight figure

Re: Coronavirus

I have to wonder how todays generation would cope with WW2 levels of inconvenience. How many would be up in arms at having to switch our lights out, removing road signs, ration petrol and food. Oh the humanity! What about our human rights, our freedom of speech! The war is a conspiracy designed by ...

Re: Decent Recent TV

The Umbrella Academy binged S1 in time for S2 to be released yesterday. Thoroughly enjoyed it, less bloody, dark and strange than the brilliant Watchmen series but great ideas and cast and a killer soundtrack. Weirdly enough no angsty emo music despite the original comic being written by the lead s...

I suspect it's a bad day to have just shaved your head for the first time in your life.

I'm gonna have to put sunscreen on my bonce, aren't I?

Contains gratuitous scenes of a man twatting a Miura with a hammer, viewer discretion is advised.

Also apparently "hand beaten from a wooden buck as they originally were" is code for "wonky AF nothing fckin fits".

Re: Mitsubishi UK/EU

Think it's more to do with certain parts of the "alliance" leading development of different cars then them being badge engineered for sale by each brand.

Mitsubishi is in quite a weak position though.

Today I am wanting this for some straight six goodness. But Macclesfield is too far. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174258494163 Maybe it's time to sell mine, 200cc more but double the miles :D and rust, and scabby paint, and then I wouldn't have it. Maybe not. What to look out for on these? Have also ...

Lethal Weapon 1-4 revisiting these after watching The Murtaugh List episode of How I met your mother. First is nowhere near as good as I remembered, hard to believe it was released only a year before Die Hard. Cardboard villains with Glover and Gibson playing it straight. Humourless and a very B mo...

Seeing as I hated shopping before it's only marginally more hateful now. I'd complain about how irritating I find wearing one, but having pilloried Yanks for their whinging I really can't. NFI why you don't need one for the gym though, everyone breathing heavily and circulating the air. Think I'll n...
