Re: Randomness

Had AC/DC on in the car all this week, if he covers "Whole lotta Rosie" I'll be impressed.

It’s in everyone’s interest to just make it work now.
"Everyone" I do wonder how many billions/trillions are bet in the finance houses of London against it working.

Re: Half Life: Alyx

All of the Half Life franchise is free to play (not to own) for the next two months in the lead up to the release of Alyx.

Maybe I'll revisit Opposing force and Blue shift for a laugh.

Its almost like the sole purpose of mild hybrids is to game the NEDC testing regime - personally, I'm shocked.

Cool road trip, you seemed to stop for petrol a lot. We're the cars that thirsty or was it more to give the drivers a break?

Re: Decent Recent TV

Lost in Space series 2 has appeared on Netflix and I quite enjoyed the first episode. Might try and inflict some Sci-fi adventures on the kids who are showing dangerous levels of non-nerdiness.

The new trailer for Westworld S3 has reminded me to have another go at watching series 2.

The Expanse brilliant ending to Season 4, seriously. Tempted to go and binge the books now to find out what happens.
Totally worth it. They're great page turners.
Thanks, next ten thousand miles of audio books sorted.

With regards to noise though, it’s large tyres causing noise which I find the biggest source of noise in our town, especially in the rain. *Noise guy hat on* It's a shame that low noise tyres aren't ubiquitous option in the premium sector yet, especially on big wheels. On cost for OEMs is eff all i...

Re: Booster/Cayman return to 6-wallopers

@RobYob - thank you. Not that I am in the market and I know generally a 6 will be better and so on, just wondered if it was crap comparatively or just crap! Given how great my old Impreza sounded it seems like a huge own goal then. Funny isn't it, I started looking at the Porsche and Impreza exhaus...

Re: Booster/Cayman return to 6-wallopers

Has anyone got personal experience of the 4 pot Boxster? I know journalists bang on about how terrible it is but they have a far richer experience to compare to than me for instance. Is it really THAT bad? When it came out and there was all the hand wringing I did wonder whether the 924, 944 and 96...

Re: SSO Blogs

Were any of the front-engined jobs classed as front-mid-engined? Interested to know if that made any difference. As I've noted before, due to the 2+2 configuration, the Evora has almost identical weight distribution to a 911 but yeah - not sure I would want my next fun-car to be a fronty? :? I susp...

Interesting to read. Although your continued character assassination on the mind bendingly gorgeous XJR-15 is regretable  Is there any one who loves driving, and all practicalities aside, not love a mid-engined over any other configuration? If I'd studied dynamics and such I could probably make...

We'd like people to think that, too many fuckin tourists.
I imagine the aboriginals felt much the same way ;)
They did briefly, then they just felt a strong stabbing pain of being stabbed.
