Re: Your fleet running reports

I sometimes wish I could hang onto cars for a longer period but I start geting the car searching itch after a couple of years. I kept cars longer when I was younger as I didn't have the disposable income and there wasn't the choice there is now! I think the longest I have kept a car was six years ...

the wheels on the trolley jack sink in with the weight of the car but they return to shape afterwards without any damage. There is no movement at all from the tiles when going from lock to lock, just lots of squeeking :)

Re: Today’s want

I've had a test drive in a Caterham today and now know that I definitely want one.

Caterham are holding various test drive events at dealers around the country so I put my name down and received a phone call arranging it at my "local" dealer. This was at Northwich in Cheshire which although not ...

I'd noticed one of the front tyres on the Beetle had some very fine cracks on the tyre wall so time for a replacement. On closer examination it's dated 1999

For anyone asking about the projects,

Compact is back on a random assortment of e34 wheels, it, the Merc, the mito, the Up and the x5 all running and driving well. Still waiting on a new prop from Germany for the x5 before I declare it properly ‘fixed’ as it’s still running on a centre support I ...
