I went out on my bike yesterday. Obviously still extremely muddy but the blue sky made it almost pleasant.

Re: Your fleet running reports

I had a wheel straightened from my Mercedes cls that in the words of the tyre fitter, was shaped like a fifty pence piece. It was the inner rim that was bent so I had no idea, just a slow loss of air.

Re: Your fleet running reports

Ah yes, brain fart time

As an aside, I visited Scarborough last month to visit a friend for the first time in years. We went into the centre for a bite to eat and I thought I'd stumbled onto the set of a zombie movie :o

My wife was introduced to him when he was touring the building she worked in, apparently he was very chatty and asked numerous questions about her role. She is a 5'11" blonde with big, erm, distinguishing features though.

It reminds me of air brake equipped vehicles that have been parked for a while and have lost the air from the tanks. Start the engine and hold the revs until the brakes release and you can drive away.

Re: Laptop processors?

I recently needed to replace my laptop and couldn't believe how much anything with a semi decent spec had gone up in price, a friend had warned me but I just thought he was being a bit of a drama queen :)

I decided to look at the used stuff available and bought a refurbished Dell direct from Dell ...

Re: Just advertise the ***ing price!!

That sounds bizarre, which dealer was it?

I bought from Marshall Volvo and the price was the price. I did take out finance but only because there was an offer which included a years extra warranty and two years servicing. I paid it off after checking it wouldn’t affect the offer.

Re: Insurance (general moaning thread)

We might have to move this to the General section. :D

Home and car insurance are due in the next few weeks (annoying timing, but such it is). The home policy is going up by £3, and car insurance for both cars, with no changes to anything, is dropping £160.41.

That feels like a win to me ...
