Re: The Movie Thread

The Accountant 2 Meh... The first one had a bit of a unique element to it but now that's known, this second one is just a run of the mill action film and not a very good one at that. (this happens a lot with squeals - Jack Reacher and The Dry sequels are recent examples) No more than 5 out of 10 an...

Re: Glastonbury 2023

I totally get he’s not for everyone and there’s a genuine debate as to whether Neil Young should be headlining the Pyramid Stage in 2025… But he was fucking awesome. Absolutely loved loved loved that. 8-) I’m a lifelong fan so I get I’m biased but there aren’t too many left still touring that played...

Re: Glastonbury 2023

Loved pulp. Sure it wasn’t musically perfect but it really didn’t matter.

Poor Candida’s arthritis looks really bad bless her. 45 years dealing with it but she can still play

The Red Arrows was timed to perfection 8-)

Edit - Raye was fucking brilliant too…

Re: Driving Shoes

I believe it's a social experiment, for deliberately proving that people with huge amounts of money will spend huge amounts of money, just to prove they have huge amounts of money, because their entire personality revolves around demonstrating how much better they are than you, because they have hu...

Re: Glastonbury 2023

Just watching Alanis Morrisette from yesterday in iPlayer. Very good really - Hard to believe it’s her first time playing given her music style would have been right up Glastonbury’s alley at the height of her fame.

Re: New Router / Config Changes

Update - Sonos is sorted. It turns out it was connecting to the booster unit in my office, rather than the main hub and the WIFI strength wasn't enough for it. It's now connected (at 5GHz) to the main hub and working fine. Ring is still an issued but I suspect the unit's borked. There's a sequence i...
