I thought as much, I seem to ...

My niece and her BF won a Honda civic about 6 months ago. The took the cash instead after checking the insurance. Think they got about £8k. Cash in account no questions asked.

Re: Weekend toy £25k
When I started shopping for a new fun daily I put 20k into the autotrader budget, had to be rear drive but other than that I was open minded.
The choice was boxsters, caymans, s2000's, mx5's, z4's and the like but it was the abarth that caught my eye and I subsequently bought one after a test ...

Re: S1 Lotus Elise
They are fairly simple cars that you can spanner yourself. I had mine 5 years. I paid £10k for it I sold it at £14000 probably spent £2500 on it not including servicing and tyres. So made a small return.
BUT for 5 years it was Epic. It did 25+ Track-days in my ownership. I sold it to my mate who ...

Well? What did you actually buy?
Probably nothing...

I've been looking for a pair for ages for less than the RRP of about £90. The outlet store in Portsmouth, Gunwharf Quays, only had the pink with red stripe ones in my size and even at only £45 my wife barred me from buying them.
Followed your link, saw they were £45 in my size, bought ...

Re: Your fleet running reports
I’m really starting to lose patience with the x5
I still have a horrendous vibration under power, slight at 18mph, really bad between 30 and 35mph and worse the more throttle you give it.
I thought it might be the transfer box not liking the worn front tyres. Had some fresh ones put on ...

Re: How much do you spend on shoes?
The mrs. Recently bought me some speed cats as they’re apparently very fashionable at the moment. No good for me in terms of heel and toe because my ankles don’t bend like normal peoples but very comfortable non the less. She got them in suitably petrolhead gulf style colours
