Classic car racing at Brands today had 458s, 997s and same vintage Vantage GT3s racing. But they’re still new I thought.
Then I do the maths and realise most of the teenagers spectating weren’t even born when those cars first began racing

Re: Your fleet running reports
The only real solution is a no tag no start or a ghost. Ghost is still CAN bus based though ? So although it's very clever it's only a matter of time before it gets hacked - as long as criminals can physically tap into the CAN bus wiring it's open to exploitation. I was thinking yesterday a mechani...

Re: Bye Bye Sunak..
It’s a stupid idea, probably just to boost the pathetic armed forces count. 2 types of people at 18 - those who are going straight to a job/apprenticeship and those who are going to uni. (Ok there’s a very small minority of gap year soul searchers too). Not sure any of them would like to piss away a...

Re: Randomness
Just looking at the bottom of this forum and there's a Google Bot online probably collating any old bollocks and using them as facts.
Not sure why they don't only use a list of professional sites and online encyclopaedias to train it.

Wonder if Leclerc will stuff it in the wall first or if Ferrari will find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Re: Your fleet running reports
Got round to fitting my new shiny brakes on the 6. https://i.postimg.cc/2CNSyVKr/IMG-0671.jpg?dl=1 It was all very enjoyable and didn’t take half a day this time. I am surprised the rear calipers are not seized, they looked like they came off the bottom of the ocean and even the caliper pistons look...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Because manufacturers aren’t a victim of car crime but a beneficiary. Land Rover only bothered to come up with a proper fix once insurance premiums went so high and they had so much negative press that it started to influence sales.

That’s a failure of education rather than democracy.

Re: Your fleet running reports
Maybe better off with an AirTag?
I mean if it makes no difference to your premium, unlikely to work after the 3G cut off, probably not the best tracker when new either and all the usual locations for it known by thieves by now.

Re: Randomness
On the topic of social media I saw the weirdest thing today. Just a stones throw from South Kensington there’s a cafe, they sell croissants the size of a baby. Seriously these things are ridiculous. Outside the small cafe there were 2 tables, both occupied by young women, dressed up like they’re goi...

I think if the gforce is great enough to really hurt you from a loose belt then you’ve got far bigger problems on an airplane

Re: Choose
The F1 is being constantly evolved. I used to occasionally read that thread on PH about the guy with the F1. I recall he had his brakes and suspension upgraded all through MSO. I think they improved the headlights too and changed the fuel tank material so it didn't need to get replaced every few yea...

F1 sounds far better from inside the car. T50 on part throttle inside the cabin is …disappointing.

I'm not a natural Labour voter but objectively they are the right choice. I agree with Jobbo here As I've said previously, we need a majority Labour government and give them the full 5 year term. Personally, I won't accept any "It's not our fault, we inherited a basket case from the Tories&quo...

Rwanda capacity so small that it's not a disincentive. 200 people per year capacity. Look at the last table here and you can see that crossings have increased this year apart from Feb which we had non stop storms so the message most certainly isn't getting across the way the government thinks it sho...
