F-Pace is just a Velar and that's not long for this world as there's pics of the new Velar under camouflage being tested.
E/I Pace made in Austria and also not long for this world.
They've done an Alfa Romeo from 2008 when they canned everything then realised they have no cars to sell

Wonder what all the factory workers are doing now then? No reports of mass layoffs. I thought there were rumours that it was going to be split from Land Rover and sold off.

Councils use independent contractors for most things such as road works. It's just another area where money is pissed up the wall.

F40 with the plate F40 ABV - recently sold on collecting cars. Also a new GT3 RS with the plate REV 11T. Both by Parliament Square. I can’t possibly make up my mind if they’re cool or shit. I would have to camp outside Parliament for a few weeks, perhaps with the Palestinian gang, to see if they’re ...

Re: Should I be getting paid for appearing on a TV documentary?
I don't pay much attention to dates either and usually eat out of date things. The only bad one recently was some smoked Tuna. It was out of date and it has such a short shelf life anyway, usually only 2 or 3 days.. It was only 2 days past expiry and expensive so I didn't want to bin it. Didn't tast...
Re: New 911
Well that is interesting and worrying. Isn't that essentially what the MGU-H component in F1 power units does? Deemed so expensive and complex that it will be banned from 2026 so that Audi/Porsche can have a hope of developing a competitive engine
Not sure I'd want that in my road car.

Re: New 911
Maybe - apparently the hybrid turbo tech is 27kg and the battery pretty much the same again. There is also a normal car battery in the mix which also seems like an odd choice. Given completely free reign I would have ditched the turbo, ditched the motor in the PDK (so there is the possibility of a ...
Re: New 911
If it had a full EV capability it would weigh 150kg more rather than just 50kg. I imagine that will happen in due course but this seems the better compromise until they're absolutely forced down that path. Same situation here https://maps.app.goo.gl/KzthLSDCx7X1hd4n9 A3 is 50 mph in this section, road running parallel is 30. Model 3 will brake to 30 mph. Loads of roads like that on the outskirts of London. The best solution is to just put a blanket 20 mph limit across every road in the country. No con...

Re: The House Projects Thread
That is beyond pathetic. 5 years  I have got some legal problems with the council, don't think it's sensible to share yet but for a council on the brink of bankruptcy I am surprised at the amount of resources they've thrown into this - full on private investigator levels of craziness going on....

Re: FAO BMW i3-istas
Hmm, the one I drove was a 2014 Rex which was the original smallest 60ah battery version. From that experience I can't recommend the Rex simply because the Rex portion of it kept having drivetrain errors which needed to go into BMW for 2 weeks at a time about twice a year. The petrol tank also pisse...
