Re: EV Thread
They’re pretty simple to install, I’d happily let a local electrician install it, it’s just a dedicated fuse board and much simpler than a whole home installation at the end of the day. Usually EV chargers are killed by gradual moisture ingress. If it’s going in a covered location then get whatever ...

She’d have crashed even if she were driving a slammed MX5.
Re: Which M3?
If we’re talking run of the mill M3s then E92 for me. If special stuff is included then M3 GTR Street version. Best BMW ever.

Re: The Property Thread
I’d love a proper sized greenhouse. I carry a Thermacell for mosquitos here, absolutely hate having to apply anything to my skin so works well for that. Don’t know anything about midgets though.

Re: No F1 thread?
F1 cars will be safe but it’s supposedly faster than the current F2. It is seriously impressive how far they’ve come though. I think there will be a point in the next decade where they will converge with F1 so hopefully this makes the people running F1 realise that hybrid V6’s aren’t the future ...

Re: WiFi Access Point Thingymabobs
What Jobbo says, the hardest bit has been done, which is routing all the cabling. The WiFi prosumer stuff is good but if you’re not into your tech it can become frustrating when you’re at the mercy of a third party each time something throws an error.

Re: Your fleet running reports
Yeah, this has become a big PITA. Found the very same issue with RockAuto, which has been frustrating as they're my go-to for parts. Although as you allude to, not their fault; it's the parts suppliers who haven't confirmed they're compliant with sanctions
In this case I wanted to buy ...

Re: Your fleet running reports
I’ve noticed it’s been harder to find good car parts recently. Usually searching a part number will result in loads of US based choices but not much here. Earlier I was ordering stuff off RockAuto (American seller) and a lot of the stuff in my basket came up with an error that it could not be ...

I have a refuse chute. One big glory hole in the wall by the elevator. Everything goes in, no recycling. It's bliss.

Re: My name is milk, and I've been pasteurising for 8 years.
Full fat here although it’s more like skimmed now. When i were a lad full fat milk had cream in the top section of the (glass) bottle
You get supermarket or delivered? A lot of stuff is homogenised these days sadly. Ours is delivered and we'll often still get cream in the top. We could ...

Re: My name is milk, and I've been pasteurising for 8 years.
Wife went diary free years ago, so changed to Oat Milk. Now I actually prefer it and don't particularly like milk in my tea or coffee (other diary products are fine, ice cream etc).
Weirdly I am the same, for me milk in coffee tastes weird, a bit like ghee so I always have oat milk in a hot ...

From google ai:
Electric vehicle (EV) brake pads are designed to handle, higher vehicle weight, silent operation, and infrequent use due to regenerative braking. They often feature special coatings to prevent corrosion and advanced materials ...

Re: Today’s want
If you do buy a car from that particular dealer make sure all the work has been done. There’s a bunch of random jobs Caterhams like repacking bearings, frequent clutch fluid changes, making sure certain bolts are done up tight etc. They’re the ludicrously overpriced ones who gave Aston Martin after ...
