Re: Your fleet running reports
Was it on the old Top Gear where they had a M3 going round a track and an “economic” car with a small engine which then consumed more fuel. I really can’t remember, was donkeys years ago. Yes, I think it was a Prius, but it was stupid, because unless you're richb, you don't drive your M car flat ou...

I didn't know I was high net worth 8-) <looks around in disappointment> what do they call high worth? South of Watford Gap? Depends which test you are looking at but the official HNW exemption for investing and various other regulatory requirements (not sure if it applies to home insurance but it m...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Possible progress on the Bentley. A very nice chap contacted me through eBay to say the knocking noise is likely to be the bolts securing the top mounts. They’re stretch bolts and if you re-use them (which I have, several times now  ) they bottom out and appear to be tight, but aren’t actuall...

Re: Today’s want
Can they really not do anything about the gear knob? It looks pathetic - might as well graft some BMW 7 series tail lights on it too for the damage it does to the aesthetic.

Every day's a school day.... "Sorry, we can't offer home insurance as your home was originally built in 1800." "Why?" "Don't know". "What year can you insure houses from?" "1801"..... We had exactly the same problem. Three suggestions: - Speak to @H...

@Brannen - On Apple TV, there's some really good stuff to check out, they do seem to have a pretty good hit rate for quality over quantity. Re: It’s time for another forum cycle/vehicle disagreement
Different cultures innit. Italians don't care if you use their cars as parking sensors, Dutch prioritise bikes over everything else, in Vietnam - the bigger the vehicle the more priority it has (and potentially fatal accidents are regular), etc... In the UK, the car is an extension of our own little...

I don't underestimate the amount of work required to film YT content, but in terms of projects/interest, Steve's collection has an awful lot of appeal.

Re: New Merc C63 AMG
It was fairly predictable - without the big V8, what do the AMG C and E class actually offer above any other saloon? They've already put most of the AMG kit and badging on every other model in the ranges, so they're basically just back to looking and sounding like airport run taxis.
