Re: Today’s want
That seems like a great deal - obviously dependant on how much “finishing” it needs!

Re: The Motorbikerist Thread
The question is will it be as much fun when you’re doing it for yourself rather than the reward of a happy son - but £650 is a cheap way to find out!

Re: EV Thread
There’s something utterly soulless about these new EVs, they just whack whatever wacky body styling on top of the same skateboard to try and give it some personality, but it just looks like it’s trying too hard. Especially as it’s not doing anything actually clever - why does it still need a ICE ...

Re: Your fleet running reports
yeah, we drove it from Vegas to the grand Canyon - the big sky walk thing on the Westrim… which was fine until the paved road finished and we had to do about 15 miles of off-road.

Yep, i hired a GT-H version back in 2007 - then drove out to the desert to do donuts in it. Lots of fun!
Re: Trump
Was the same even when we were a net exporter up to the mid 2000’s.
What other factors do you think mean the war will affect us most?
I'm just setting out my case for maybe why we should riot and that it started long long before Trump had anything to do with it.
Go for it - so it’s ...
Re: Trump
The war will affect us the most out of the G20 economies in terms of inflation. Supply chain disruption generally hits the UK harder.
Because we are a net importer of energy? Should we drill baby drill?

Data suggest otherwise Rich - Average price of £1.00 / l back in 2016,
https://www.racfoundation.org/data/uk-pump-prices-over-time
it dipped to £1 for a bit, but your graph clearly shows it has been up and down from £1 to £1.40 for the last 10 or more years (if i’d said 14 years, you’d be ...
Re: Trump
We're paying almost double what the Americans pay at the pumps. Why aren't we rioting?
Yep, we should be shouting at Starmer to stop attacking Iran… oh.

Re: Selling Property
After building the house I'm in now, I'm not keen to build another one either
Yeah, some places wouldn't quote us for various things at one point a few years back, because prices were so volatile.
I got an email from Huws Gray a few weeks ago saying they're starting to get supply ...
Re: Trump
I still don't understand why the Americans aren't rioting in the street at this point. If crazy gas prices and mocking the church isn't pushing them over the edge....what will? Aren't they both sacrilegious?
It's fine anyway, only 2.5 years more to go
