Re: Decent Recent TV
The Boys season 5 ended on a damp squib
Other than some absurdist violence, it just felt formulaic, and more of a traditional superhero show. Soldier Boy was wasted and may as well have not been there other than some quippy lines.
Yeah, im struggling to finish the last few episodes - its just ...

Re: Your fleet running reports
i tend to get a little itchy after 2-3 years, but saying that, we’ve had our F31 since Aug 2017. I still really like driving it even though it looks like it’s been driven through a hedge now! It doesn’t get driven all that much these days as the van has taken over the family trips and my mrs works ...

Just like Dunc's old car...although can't remember if his was N/A or S. Either way, that's a great shout.

i’ve booked brands hatch in the 6th july
Indy or full GP layout? I hate watching races on the Indy circuit, but it's not actually awful for (online) racing. But full GP is a great track.
Just the Indy, it’ll be my first actual track day, so i’m not too concerned about anything beyond ...

i’ve booked brands hatch in the 6th july - i’ll do snetterton one day, but it’s 2 1/2 hours away, so i’ll combine it with a trip to my mate in norfolk eventually!

Whatever I get will be my only car. An Elise is high on the list, not been in one since MarkBT52s Exige so don’t know what they’re like getting in and out of at 50+
Hilarious. There’s no graceful way, but you do get better at doing it quickly so no one notices how daft you look.
i drove ...

Re: Weekend toy £25k
Probably just me, but I bulk at the idea of spending £800 a year on road tax for a second car.
I could probably justify if I was buying a single, all-rounder, but paying £1500/year for tax and insurance for a car that's only for weekends before you get to fuel and servicing rubs me the wrong ...

Re: Your fleet running reports
I had some moaning rear brakes on the van and a look showed some big lips on the edges of the discs (i only had an MOT last month and no mention).
i ordered some new brembo discs from euro carparts (i already had some pads) for £75 each and got a nice 30% discount (so i ordered some £115 front ...

Re: Ferrari Luce Reveal
i saw that yesterday - great stuff Nissan!
Just goes to show how painfully ordinary the concept is. Just made shitter by being too big for our roads and costing 20x more.

I’m sure that would be amazing if your rear passengers don’t have heads and you want a 2027 car with styling cues completely ripped off from an old 2020 Ferrari Roma.
Instead, you have a 5 door, 5 seat, tall and fat saloon EV ...

Re: Drug driving
They’re not hard to get hold of now though.
Like, a whatsapp message and someone will deliver within the hour. No harder than ordering a takeaway.
There’s just no regulation or quality control because the entire industry is illegal.
You’re already in that world though, you have dealers numbers ...

But they’re €½m and will probably have a waiting list into the next decade. Overs market will be insane. The share dip is brief & based on the opinions of people that aren’t on the invite list.
Same happened with stuff like the Taycan and Cybertruck - initial excitement followed by serious ...

Re: Car Limits (aka Walshy days)
The worst bit of the day was the drive home though. Going on for 3hrs in the baking hot sun (the sill by my right arm was too hot to touch), sweating buckets, water bottle like bath water, phone packed up because it said it was too hot, stop start traffic all the way up the M25 and M1. I think I ...

Re: The AI Thread
Chatting to a mate over the weekend, it seems to be very good/useful for programming - he has used it to make a trading app successfully with limited knowledge of actual coding.
