Two days before my fridge died whilst we were away, but worked when we got back (huh), so we threw out the freezer food and restocked just in time for it to die again. New fridge connects to WiFi and I ha...

I know. But they sent me, by Royal Mail, a particularly nice bottle of red for helping them out.

Re: Peter Stringfellow

I’m drinking my “thank you” from the company as we speak. I literally saved a flight and 308 passengers last Sunday (by just showing up, but hey, cheers!)

Re: The Motorbikerist Thread

I’ve probably said this before, but my mate went from a litre bike to a BMW GS(?) type bike and says that although he feels he’s going as fast as he did on his sportsbike, he’s actually going ~30mph slower, and so has more time to avoid the dickheads/gatsos.

Re: Peter Stringfellow

He was my neighbour in Mallorca and, although a bit garish, was actually quite a nice bloke. His wife, as well as being ridiculously fit, was a lovely person aswell. RIP

WLTP (ND)

So Porsche has stopped taking new car orders for the 911/718 until Autumn and no Cayenne/Macan until early ‘19. Now VW have now said they are halting some production lines until Q3. BMW have cancelled M3 production for the same reason. I know WLTP is necessary (and an improvement) but have they forc...

Re: Changing Run Flats for Standard Tyres

All ordered from Blackcircles as they had a £40 off 4 Michelin PS4's. Going to be fitted at local tyre place Thursday morning. I can see both sides of the insurance question but will probably not mention it for now. Also I found this comment on National tyres guidance regarding whether to change RF...

Re: Adrian Newey spotted.....

His son went to my son’s school. The last day of summer term he showed up with a trailer full of his son’s racing karts and set up an impromptu race circuit on the school’s drive. A rather cool chap. 😎

Re: McLaren 650S Spider vs. 720S Article: Bad Driver POV

Well, that is a very good, mature 20 year old (although, with your stable SSO, I’m not sure I’d wait until I was 19 to take my test! 😉 ) . Your colour spec on the 720S is spot on, and I’ve seen a lot living spitting distance from a McLaren dealership. Ofcourse, what I’d want is a 720S Spider*... hav...
