Re: Being offended

Would it be offensive to ask how you enjoyed Kraków? We’ve been twice, love the place Answer to the bar in the salt mine question- not really a bar but there’s a restaurant about 125m underground that serves beer.... Yes enjoyed it too. Didn't do the camp as its too depressing and by the soun...

Re: Being offended

What? I’m agreeing with you. People who want to argue pennies rather than just chipping in an amount to cover the whole thing are a waste of time. The problem is people who take the piss, know you're splitting the bill so intentionally order more expensive things than they normally would. I can go ...

P.S. That family sounds like a bunch of pricks.
20 somethings.

The best solution is to never go out or on holiday with anyone 😂.

Re: Being offended

I'm not really a drinker, so it does annoy me when I end up contributing 50% more than what I have actually spent. But you can't say anything. Thems the rules. I see your point. I don't drink most of the time when out for food. It is annoying but I don't begrudge my other half and others having a f...

The problem is people who take the piss, know you're splitting the bill so intentionally order more expensive things than they normally would. Do they? i usually find it’s the other way round, mates/family all putting in too much because they think they’ve had more than the average. It usually just...

They said they were offended. Therefore they were offended. Not that hard to grasp.

Loving the Edinburgh tips as we are there next month.

Sweet centre in Bradford I've been to a few times as used to work at low moor. Not what it was but lots of history.

I will say that people who want to itemise big restaurant bills are almost as tedious as people who complain about offended snowflakes.

Re: Being offended

Ok boomer I'm 46 lad. The best thing is I can be particularly offensive when trying so it's quite astonishing with zero effort I was so bad one of them wouldn't sit next to me at dinner (bill splitting incident) Oh on that subject my other half actually got up and paid the whole lot as we can't be ...

Being offended

Just been away with some fam who are mainly 20 years younger than my good self. I've heard about snowflakes but never really have seen it first hand. My sins included Suggesting we split a bill for a table of 12 which was 20 pounds each (cheap). Describing a gay couple I was sat with as gay. Asking ...

Re: The Motorbikerist Thread

Its an RX7 gp and quite light I think (same as my older one). The inner pads for medium / large can be swapped for along with the skull to fit exactly. When you buy one in a shop they will measure your bonce and get one with the correct padding produced. Many variations as highlighted here https://w...

Re: UK decent rental cars experience

Yes that is the problem. Bought a massive new telly the other day and it just fitted in the golf but I guess you can get delivery for nowt these days. We were in cornwall last month and got 6 in it too, not something a sports car could achieve  But for the days I am working at home its just sat...
