The Perkins Prima brings the power unit of tomorrow into the hands of todays up thrusting young exec.

Marvel at the 100 horses and 100mpg all in a 2 seater fastback coupe body style.

8-) Will ask the wife to record that, nicely done Gavster

Use by dates are just a reflection of your level of risk, if you aren’t prepared to do a taste test on a 2 month old yoghurt, are you even worth being alive ?

Re: New 911

I’d be surprised if the main load bearing components lost their oil film that quickly. Also the first part under load to get oil is the mains, then big ends, then little ends, then top of the engine. I’d be worried if it kicked in hard during a full load event but I’m assuming it’s all calibrated to...

Re: Your fleet running reports

That sounds like the secondary ride then so bigger wheels won’t affect that really.

You may need to get used to the height of it a bit more as it exaggerated any movement as you’re at the end of the pivot so to speak.

Re: State of the Roads

I was rather unimpressed with the number of potholes on the M40 yesterday. Local authority maintained roads I sort of understand the maintenance issues but Highways Agency? That’s just evidence of how badly run the country is currently. Yep. And when the HA became Highways England a few years ago t...

I don’t think people would piss away a whole year, I think it would be good for most people. It’s stupid though as the U.K. has a really well regarded professional military full of people who want to be there. I don’t see how taking time away from the professionals and putting it towards people who ...

Security stuff. Long article about CAN injection. I didn't really understand it. https://kentindell.github.io/2023/04/03/can-injection/ A Range Rover Sport that was stolen by cutting a hole in the tailgate to access the wiring. Either search instagram yourself to try and find a photo, or use the li...

Re: Bucket list items.

I’ve done loads of individually cool stuff but some list items left are. Run to the sun in the 500e or a V12 Aston. Take the wife to Monaco in the 500e, fancy dinner and a floppy hat type of meal. Go back to the Kruger but with the family and stay at a lodge in the wild. Posh banquet with the wife i...

Re: Choose

The F1 I think I’d be intimidated by but for some strange reason I feel the 50 road car will be more manageable.

I’ve been out off Singers after the Tuthill video, I’d have one of those in a heartbeat if it ever became affordable.

Re: Seatbelts on planes

In a car it’s more the forward and back motion you need to stop.

In a plane it’s the down.

Aslong as it traps your legs even a little bit it would help a lot.

Re: Today’s want

The gear selector was talked about on Ineos sites and it’s a cost issue. The gear selector is classed as a safety critical system so to change it costs millions in testing and development.

Other manufacturers are already doing that with selectors and new product testing so isn’t an issue.

Is there a successful business CEO we could use while we hunt for a party that could actually be a success ?

Not Lord Sugar.

Lilly’s tea room near me is going well, we could use her ?

Re: Seatbelts on planes

I’m currently on a plane flying to Singapore  It is smooth like butter. I always keep my belt on till I’m at the gate, the only time I got hurt on a plane was while taxiing and the pilot had to give a swift stab of the brakes for something, I slapped the screen with my cheek. The crew have enou...

Even buying regular beef can be a pain, we went to a cash and carry and the burger patties were 51% beef, some steaks we had were very tough and shrank a lot and some bacon we bought it turned out to have a smoked flavouring on as a liquid, which tasted so un-natural we didn’t even throw it to the d...

Re: Meaty goodness

The Liver King claimed to be natty and he very much wasn’t. I’ve no beef with actors juicing tbh. They aren’t athletes. What they certainly shouldn’t do is sell an app saying they are natural. I’ve also no problem with it, they are doing it for a role and it’s part of their job. The ones denying it...
