Even more bizarre/lazy when you consider the fact that I am old enough to have happily waited 5 minutes for my zx spectrum to load fantasy world dizzy.

Re: For the FTAO of Sim racing folk

So far it's been a right laugh and a lot of fun. Everything feels so real, from the little details on the cars to the way the speed hits you. Being able to turn your head to see the car alongside you makes its like you're actually there on the track and the lightning is insane. I am slowly increasin...

Re: Your fleet running reports

I have just fitted non run flat Sport Contact 7s to my 5 series, havent done enough miles to see a difference yet but Im hoping it will be at least a minor upgrade. There seems to be a shortage of tyres right now, as I found it difficult to find a set of rears fror my car (275/30/20) and Im finding ...

Re: Test drive report

There's a soul Crystal Red RF on my street, looks lovely in the sun. It’s a great colour but it’s by far the most common one on the current shape MX5 so I’d not choose it. Think I’m going Aero Grey. I thought you were buying an Emira? Soul red is the best colour, but if you saw how I dress you woul...

Re: Today’s want

It's been a long time since I drove an Fxx and don't remember them looking like this.

Based on the new GRY, Toyota aren't big on interiors.

Re: Today’s want

The gearstick is really lazy on the Morgan, looks awful and totally out of sync with the rest of the interior.

Toyota didn't a much better job, as did Land Rover mentioned above.

The V300 and the EQV have the column and it does really suit the car and its style of driving.

For anyone midlands based, there is a coffee & chrome next month, it's free but the places do seem to get snapped up quickly.

The old tyre is fine, but the wheel is cracked in 4 places, almost in perfect quarters.
 Do you have a spare you can stick on?

Re: Your fleet running reports

The BMW was due a new set of tyres today, the rears are down to 2mm and the fronts 3mm. The car complained about a puncture on the front passenger side yesterday so I was thinking it was great timing. The old tyre is fine, but the wheel is cracked in 4 places, almost in perfect quarters. The tyre fi...

Re: No F1 thread?

There has been a lot of chatter about Newey over the last week or so, seems like red bull find it hard to keep things in house. It dosnt make sense to me that Lewis was refused an ambassador role by Mercedes but this will be part of the mega deal offered to max. I remember exactly where I was 30 yea...

They were designed for a manual to be fair, not sure the same applies to newer models or the supra.

Going back 15plus years, I had a manual e60 530d and I thought it suited the car despite 99% of them being auto.

Rich B wrote: Mon Apr 29, 2024 12:18 pm No issues with my manual M2 - the driving position seems exactly the same as every other BMW I've owned and the tunnel is no higher than our 320d.
I cannot recall if you have an f22 or g87, maybe the comments on the M2 related to a clutch pedal and the middle carbon piece between your thighs.
