Re: The House Projects Thread
What a load of shit. The whole legal system in this country is a complete waste of time. We've had a few cases at work that despite £10k+ outstanding it's basically not worth bothering. Yep, once you get out of the small claims track it's suddenly a whole new world of money and time to pursue someo...

Re: The House Projects Thread
Very pissed off this morning. Been informed that a judge (HHJ Luba) on one of his last days before retirement has kicked our case into the multi-track which is usually reserved for large and complex cases, rather than simple cases such as ours. Our assumption is that the judge has looked at the larg...

Re: Randomness
Just looking at the bottom of this forum and there's a Google Bot online probably collating any old bollocks and using them as facts. Not sure why they don't only use a list of professional sites and online encyclopaedias to train it. One of the major problems with AI is that it doesn’t cite its so...

Re: Bye Bye Sunak..
Rishi’s national service policy is a master stroke. Honestly believe that it could win him a lot of votes. The young people who are more likely to oppose the policy are also the ones not voting. But the irony is that anyone who is old enough to vote is already past the point of being enrolled in nat...

So the question is whether Pog has taken some gear or whether he’s just utterly doped to the eyeballs
Mind blowing performance by him today, the man is in a different league.

That's absolutely awesome! It's a huge credit that the crowd went wild; that's something you can't buy. When you're performing at a live show, it's the ultimate barometer: did the crowd enjoy it? You got that one covered  8-) If you're building a reputation then you'll start getting more invite...

There's some more tough stages coming too. I love how they made Stage 20 a hellish double climb up the same mount 😂 https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/qvQ2NSkkfarH3mSKM6LPFU-970-80.jpg Pog has just described this as "a really nice stage close to Slovenia" now expecting him to keep hi...

Vehicle Lifespan Caps
A new study has found that capping the maximum age of vehicles and forcing people to buy new ones has around a 0.1% decrease in cumulative GHG emissions while having a 2-7% increase in primary material demands. Because obviously the emissions associated with creating a new car are massive. This is w...

I wanna vote Binface again
In reality I sincerely hope Labour get voted in and have enough of a run to reform some public services and get a few things done in food before they run out of money.

Re: Meaty goodness
Where is your articles on increased cancer ? The problem with carnivore stuff is that they class red meat in the same category as fast food, even the NHS do. Which is mad considering the chemicals and crap put in fast food and the lack of it in quality red meat. The biggest thing with a diet is it ...

Re: Meaty goodness
@Gavster - one for your diet challenge? (though judging by your current paleo one this might be even worse for your energy levels?) I am tempted; however, there's no serious long-term evidence about the health impacts of the carnivore diet (e.g. full life-span from population-level data), and based...

Re: Running
Tbh you never get away from it unless you're an elite runner I did some inter-club races over the winter and would get overtaken by kids or teenagers despite me having a ~19 minute 5k time back then
