Re: The Movie Thread
Carrying on with the awards list, tonight we watched American Fiction (Prime). It was brilliant with an astonishing cast. As intended the protagonists main point was played out in the story with both clarity and a dignified sparseness that made it very elegant. I especially liked the way they portra...

Re: Trump guilty
This is a good outcome. Can he run while serving a sentence? Seems impossible that he can run for president when convicted criminals can't vote (I think).
Re: Jaguar
Using the build configurator on the website the answer is SUVs. E-, i-, and F-Pace.
What a fall from grace that is.

Re: Cazoo
I'm guessing enough people to make it worth them making the effort? But, I don't get it either.

Credit where credit is due. No panels fell off and no fingers got trapped in this video.

Like all other services they're run into the ground. That's no excuse, but a fact. The delays and frustration must be immense.

Re: Randomness
That made me look at engine configurations again and it quickly got silly. Straight-fourteen sir ? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Straight-fourteen_engine The only straight-14 engine known to reach production is part of the Wärtsilä-Sulzer RTA96-C family of 6-cylinder to 14-cylinder two-stroke marin...

Re: Bye Bye Sunak..
I'm not a natural Labour voter but objectively they are the right choice. I agree with Jobbo here As I've said previously, we need a majority Labour government and give them the full 5 year term. Personally, I won't accept any "It's not our fault, we inherited a basket case from the Tories&quo...

They're there for a reason. I wear it until the seatbelt sign is off and we're stationary on the ground.

Re: Your fleet running reports
My i3 is really sensitive to millisecond surge or power cuts and has occasionally stopped charging even though it's not affected anything else in the house other than the Virgin TV! Even the lights don't flicker but I know something has occured as the TV box has rebooted. Interesting. It charged wi...

Re: Your fleet running reports
Galaxy has a new water pump and a few bits of hose on the back of the engine. Hopefully that means we're done with coolant leaks. They had a good rummage underneath and while things are as you'd expect for 12 years/124k miles nothing is requiring replacement yet. It did just blow a brake bulb though...
Re: Running
A friend's 8yo (not very tall, very fast, runs the junior in about 9 mins) told his dad that if he didn't pick up his pace he didn't want to run with him anymore as he was too slow.

Re: Running
Nice. I've started doing our local one again with my 8 year old boy. I last did it when I was pushing his older sister around in a running buggy. Yup, the middle one and me are frequent users of our junior park run. Got a fair few kids from our school going, so it works socially too. My daughter di...
