RHD Corvette:
https://youtu.be/Ra6fkmb4aik?si=a-bZTZt_lUGMogRM

A good video because I didn't really know that much about it before. Gavin and I did see a RHD one at Cars on Toast a week or so ago but I didn't spend any great time looking at it. Because frankly the styling is pretty rubbish; it ...

Re: Jensen Interceptor Castrol GTX

It would be great to see an Interceptor recreated, but does anyone outside of the UK understand the brand? A bit like Facel Vega or Iso Grifo.

I followed one being driven enthusiastically the other day and was surprised how well the suspension seemed to be working for an old car. Whe he turned off ...

How could I forget that Brabus W126. I still don't know what engine it was; a 6-cyl when the more powerful W126s from Merc always had V8s so was it a 280SE or 300SE which had had an engine transplant from a Brabus W124 or something
The engine didn't look like the 3.6 in this 190E:

Looking at this older one now. Mrs Mad has said she won't have a green car (harder to see, etc), but I guess it could be wrapped :)

Re: Your fleet running reports

Actually, I'll ask the hivemind here.

So, old headunit had a twin RCA for the subwoofer (well, into the amp, which feeds the sub).
New headunit has a *single* RCA lead, and a wire for "subwoofer power switch"

The schematics here, however, suggest only one of those RCA cables to the amp are used ...

I think the expensive classic which goes up in value mitigates the hassle and cost. Imagine owning a cheaper classic where the cost of a gearbox rebuild isn't quite as justified against the value of the car.

I had hand-me-downs. A Boxer and a Strika. By the time I was big enough the Grifter wasn’t a thing anymore.

I remember being allowed a brand new Raleigh Burner for Christmas but couldn’t find the one I wanted (gold with black mags and pads etc) so ended up with green one.

I also vaguely ...

A Revuelto. The keen eyed among you will notice the police officer preparing to drive it up the trailer to impound it.
Other impounded cars on trailers were some arab G Wagens and a Urus. Bit weird that they can’t afford to insure their cars.

Might be above the budget though!

Re: Your fleet running reports

All sensible advice, ta.

I'd noticed the suspension felt a bit vague, although not actually loose or banging around, some slightly squishy subframe bushes would make sense. That's a fairly big job though so I'm not rushing into it.

Oil & filters is a given on any car I buy, so that's in hand ...

We have one that gets used for temporary site connections and when I go to Spain.
Works well for downloads and streaming, but if it deosn't have a clear view the latency can cause issues with video calls, despite a speed test showing over 80MB.

A sad end to the 125i. The convertible 1-series is a good looking thing.

I don't remember reading your original damage report - what caused it? Odd the way the metal is barely bent but the wheel is at that angle.

Semi-autonomous driving - steering as long as it detected hands ...

I see this kind of driving almost every other time I drive between London Bridge and Leicester, either on the A406, M25 or M1, and it's depressing how little understanding they clearly have of how quickly it could go wrong for them and innocent bystanders.

Beany mentioned it, but this type of ...

Mrs mik’s ETron is with Audi getting suspension arms replaced under the extended warranty.
