Despite the fact the TPMS system decided this evening that I simultaneously had a pressure problem AND 4 correctly inflated tyres, I realised my driveway might just be long enough for this challenge.
Unfortunately the bend leading to public roads was fast approaching as I pawed at the limiter, so the noise immediately after that is of my bag of shopping deciding that the passenger side footwell looked more attractive than the seat.
And it gets as blurry as a bastard too.
So I reckon my 1KRPMTRIT time is somewhere around the 11 second mark

And watching this verifies arse-dyno measured improvements to the 60-100 time with the 2bular manifolds fitted. More like 5.1 than the 5.7 I recorded when I got the car.

i thought the 60-100 rules were supposed to be from a steady 60?

It is. They are. Erm.
But the supercharged v6 has epic throttle response. I have added 0.1secs to the time in the 60-100 thread in an attempt to placate the system purists.....

Nice and linear, with a top end fizz for the last 1000 or so rpm. Noice

No red line, so did not meet the criteria. Fail

Rev - Shirley you can fit this into your a schedule today?
Oh God, no. It’s completely ridiculous, only an idiot would attempt such a thing.
Well, get on with it then.
1KRPowned.

I'd do it meself but I can't think of a piece of road where I can get a safe rolling start, be fairly level and safely get through the rev range around here

I can’t do it in either of my correctly engines cars due to auto gearbox failure
The Land Rover, well no-one has enough time for that.
The TT, possibly but it needs 2500rpm to make any kind of headway. Man was not meant to meddle etc etc
Dave!

Yeah some of you are going to need the Bonneville Salt Flats to do this, but I would spur you on with this....
