Slight OT aside, but I love doing this in the 330 when I'm out of town. Go from 5mph to about 60 in one pleasingly quick shot.

The 911 will happily pull from 15mph in 3rd to about 115mph. It’s hilarious. Maybe we should make this the new 60-100 test?

Puma would do similar, albeit slower, but cleanly up to about 90mph. A good torque spread (even if you don't have a huge amount of torque) is a great thing to have!

3rd gear only suited my e36 perfectly too 😎

Maybe 30-100 in one gear would be a better indicator of flexibility

Stop it, all of you. The new test is 1000rpm in 3rd gear, floor it and rev to limiter. Timed plus min/max speeds.

Eventually we'll all die. Should you stipulate that the disqualification only applies if death occurs as part of the attempt at the test? Or will eventual unrelated death disqualify participants under any circumstances?

Bugger. I'm out, then. I think I need to shift into 4th to get to the ton.
