I agree he is a bit weird but in some ways with society these days learning interpersonal skills is harder than ever.
Sadly if you search online 'how to make a friend' prior to trying to interact with someone its not the same as 'how to drag someone into a bush and touch them inappropriately' ? Just saying

It’s easier to cobble a political correctness/men can’t do anything these days article around a funny google search than a guy meeting a girl on a quiet path twice and trying to touch her without saying anything though isn’t it? Just sayin’.

But not in itself a
sexual offence is it? I can't quite grasp the logic of the magistrates but then we're not in full knowledge of the evidence.

That’s very sad. It was obviously an uncomfortable experience for the girl, but it does seem he needs help more than a custodial sentence - although, he hasn’t been sentenced yet.
