Are any of you watching? Seem to remember some of you are rugby fans...
Just tuning in to watch the England Tonga game now. Expected to go one way but should be full of thrills.

Watched some of the All Blacks yesterday. Very impressive as always.
Keen to see England now as I think that we are the team to challenge the kiwi's. Whether we can live up to our potential is always the thing!

Yep will be watching it here. The local are opening early to show the matches on the big screen and firing up the kitchen for full English breakfasts!

I've managed to watch them all so far, Australia v Fiji was a cracking game
Lol at Mcswede writing everyone off other than NZ or England.
It's a shame they're all on so early.

We'll see how foolhardy it was over the coming weeks but I have a feeling I'll be correct

Caught a few games, France dodged a bullet! Watched a lot of the NZ vs SA game, SA looked seriously powerful, they just couldn't handle NZ's explosive line breakers but I think they've still got a big part to play in the tournament.
I've got Scotland in the sweep, so was a bit disappointed with their performance.
Watched the England match too, looked a bit rusty, but there was enough weapons in there to get the job done. I'm fine with starting rusty, still winning, and getting better as the tournament goes on!

Scotland seemed just a little too impatient to unleash their lethal attack options when a few more phases might’ve given them a better platform. The score was flattering IMO but a wins a win so on to Japan..
At the moment though, I can’t see past The All Blacks or South Africa, based on the 6 Nations and Championship. So watch Australia win it...

We're running a sweepstake at work - I didn't spend very long agonising over it but I've actually got an Ireland vs All Blacks final down but making quick decisions about how it would naturally progress. Guessed every game right so far...

Let's keep our fingers crossed for that. Always difficult to assess a team when the difference between an average and a very good game is putting 30 points on your opponent, versus 50 points - they looked competent enough at this early stage. Will be interesting to see how they develop.

Off to Japan in a couple of weeks and have tickets for Scotland v Japan and two quarter finals.
Given Scotland’s performance against Ireland, I’m not hopeful of seeing them play more than once.

Which Quarter-finals Mudge? If the Group A/Group B ones in Tokyo, then I'll see yu there.

Would be awesome seeing Japan play at home, if they make it to the quarters.

They look decent, but Ireland are not making many mistakes.

If they play like this against Scotland they'll probably win.

Japan are playing so well! So stoked for them too - they're total underdogs but working so hard to be better, and the country is behind them so much. Only country on earth that tempts me away from NZ, fucking awesome to see them doing so well!
I have Ireland winning this in my sweep-stake but I'm totally rooting for Japan right now!
