Re: RWC Japan
NZ v WA final.
And weirdly even though I think England are a better side I reckon the Welsh might be the only team that could scuttle the Kiwis.
Gutted I missed today's game (listened on 5 live) but just watched it back and England looked comfortable. That said i think that was in part down the the Aussies not being up to snuff. I think against the kiwis they'd be opened up easily

I don’t think that’s a bad call at all and very realistic, barring no unforeseen issues or unforeseen levels of shitness from either side.Swervin_Mervin wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2019 11:16 pm NZ v WA final.

I envisage a. NZ v Wales final given the draw but can't see us beating them.
Re: RWC Japan
Wales need to start this game soon for those predictions to come true...

Well one of them will.Orange Cola wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2019 11:06 pm
France and SA won’t get to the final if they do win tomorrow.
Re: RWC Japan
Nah, England are a top side IMO, I don't see it being an easy ride for NZ... I still expect NZ to win, but it will be a lot closer than the Ireland game.Swervin_Mervin wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2019 11:16 pm

Re: RWC Japan
Yep - that was a proper dumb ass move.
Re: RWC Japan
6mins they've got to hold that...
If they pull this off, thoroughly deserved, fighting SO hard.

Re: RWC Japan
I was out of puff after watching that 1st half! Sadly I think this is going to get away from them. Shame as a WA v Japan semi would be a great spectacle

Re: RWC Japan
True, and no disrespect to the other two, but I think the champion will be decided by the England vs All Blacks game. I think we can give them a run for their money, and if the Kiwis have a bad day....
Cheers,

Just finished waching the Wales France game. France looked as if they would have comfortably taken it (despite missing two conversions as the right honerable RichB asserts) if that le tosser Vahaamahina hadnt asked to be red-carded. Quelle un fanny!
Good to see Wales in the semis but i cant imagine they'll head to their beds feeling massively confident.

Sometimes the sign of true champions is that they still win when they don't play well...
Not lost a tournament match since Feb 18 in the 6 nations

Re: RWC Japan
Warren said it himself in the post match interviews, statistically you can’t go on playing this long and not put in a shit performance somewhere along the line and today was that performance. They need to make sure it remains that way as they also recognised it takes a lot of work to build up their performance and one match to jump off the cliff, so to speak.
I think England are in trouble, Wales won’t have a walk in the park with SA. It could be a NZ/SA final given this weekends performances.
Interestingly there’s talk of inviting Japan to join the six (seven?) nations, they have proven themselves and now need supporting so they can continue to develop by playing top teams.
