Gas is bloody handy. If it's not raining I use it for sausage and bacon* sandwiches for breakfast eg if we've had friends staying over, it's much less messy than doing it indoors (and with the wife being vegan I try not to cook much meat in the house). I need an awning so I can use it year round.Carlos wrote: ↑Sun Sep 03, 2023 7:42 pm Had the Spirit 2 for a month now and it's been used every weekend sometimes 3 times a day. Mainly for grilling sausages, burgers and chicken, it's clearly convenient as we've been using it more than once a day although I'm slightly disappointed my son reckons there's no taste difference between gas and charcoal!

I did pulled pork on the smoker last week. Put it on before bed the night before and it was timed perfectly for lunch after an hour of resting. Came out rather excellently... and I've got plenty left in the freezer.
