While we have his attention - some time back he started a build thread about some ridiculously jizzy spec Elise and then went quiet. This isn't acceptable.

Get the timken one.
Not sure the M12 bolt is really a safety issue, I've not seen a broken one. More like eliseparts sales nonsense, hence why the owner drives a mclaren.
Still building the silly elise, its just taking a bit longer than I hoped....i'll do an update one day as i've got almost the entire build in parts in the workshop. Took delivery of a complete set of body panels a couple of months ago that are so light and thin they're translucent
