Moorland setting on fire in mild temperatures

If this can stop before it gets to our house, that would be super!

Of all the things I expected living here, wildfire from 'heat' wasn't one of them!

It's only been 24 degrees FFS, I wonder what actually started it, if all the grass is dry up there it wouldn't take much I suppose. :(

Aye, it's getting a bit warm up here by all accounts!, a bit further up the moor, about a 15 minute walk away, I can see the smoke and a bit of an amber glow but no flames yet thankfully.

I don't think there'd be any air as we know it if the ambient temp was 800C.

i run the AC in my car all year to keep it tip top so probably just get in the car.
