Decent car YouTubes
Re: Decent car YouTubes
Some remarkable driving from Sean Edwards. Who is doesn’t make me a want a GT3 cup car even more
Re: Decent car YouTubes
Currently having daydreams about hoofing around Scotland in a mk1 version of this wonderful thing
Re: Decent car YouTubes
Just watched that. Something very appealing about doing a Caterham-style DIY build with a massive pile of new parts to the exact spec you want.
Shell cost doesn’t seem unreasonable compared to a proper restoration of an original one - I guess it’s down to how bothered you are about keeping an old plate.

Re: Decent car YouTubes
Historic rally/racing has a surprisingly big following and relatively cheap Motorsport hence the value in restoring old VINs lol
Re: Decent car YouTubes
Tyrrell's latest episode.
That 350GT body unpainted is gorgeous.

Re: Decent car YouTubes
The want in strong here!
I love this Hong Kong import, Meissen Blue, manual, Clubsport, PCCB. Perfect.

Re: Decent car YouTubes
It would be a million times better without the crappy stripe on the side.
Re: Decent car YouTubes
Bet there's a stripe on the underside too, so he can look cool if the worst happens on a track day.
Re: Decent car YouTubes
I like/don’t mind stripes when they are standard fit OEM (987 Cayman R / Spyder, 911R, 997 Sport Classic etc), but I wouldn’t spec them if they’re options.
Seems popular with the GT4 crowd and the 991 GT3 crowd (with the massive ‘Porsche’ decal on the rear wing). Why? Not for me.

Re: Decent car YouTubes
Amazingly Porsche will leave them off for you at no cost if you wish.
Re: Decent car YouTubes
i can handle the rear wing ones, it's the lame side ones that just look like they're a generic "Porsche style decal" off eBay because someone saw a Singer with stripes so thought they'd suit a 991.Coaster1 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 4:04 pm I like/don’t mind stripes when they are standard fit OEM (987 Cayman R / Spyder, 911R, 997 Sport Classic etc), but I wouldn’t spec them if they’re options.

Re: Decent car YouTubes
Had a scout around for an i8 after seeing Samcrac's stuff (and Rich, before).
Do not want this one, though:

Re: Decent car YouTubes
This M5 linked below is rather curious. So windows smashed, idrive, headunit, screen and gear selector stolen but its written off the car? Needs a new loom too but still...

How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Decent car YouTubes
New loom sounds horrendously expensive.Mito Man wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 9:56 pm

Yeah they won’t have been removed without serious other damage.. all the trims and possibly dash will have been damaged..Jobbo wrote: ↑Wed Feb 24, 2021 7:05 amNew loom sounds horrendously expensive.Mito Man wrote: ↑Tue Feb 23, 2021 9:56 pm

Could be ok, could be a nightmare..
Re: Decent car YouTubes
I still want a 2.5-16, in smoke silver. Would complement the GT3 quite well
Re: Decent car YouTubes
I love the 2.5-16V too. First proper performance car I ever drove.
