For zero dollars except the electric hammer and chisel bit (I've got punches and a large hammer, and trust me, that things does not come off without a fight - mine is still there)

Also you can't actually tell what it sounds like because every clip of the car running is sped up.

Not so serious, Beany-san - I hoped it would be a bit of light relief after your fleet update :(

I'm not enjoying cars at the moment, not remotely.

He's quite an endearing chap and has just done a JOGLE collaboration with The MacMaster who Youtube keeps unfathomably promoting but who is facile and annoying. Clearly more for clicks because on Geoff's videos he's nowhere near as bad.

Anyway, I quite like Geoff's channel: https://www.youtube.com/@GeoffBuysCars
Hmm, I get the feeling now I've seen a few more vidoes that Geoff is a bit of a conspiracy theory loon, possibly verging into freeman of the land territory. I don't mind his preference for old diesels over new EVs - there's a massive cost difference between them for a start and he's not going to be leasing a Taycan anyway. There is a very odd segment in a video he uploaded this week mentioning a 40% increase in the death rate for 10-14 year olds in the UK between 2020 and 2023 - no reason given for mentioning it, but I imagine it's COVID denial or something along those lines.

is there anywhere you can do "overlanding" in this country?
No 😄 And it’d be too big for most green lanes. Ferry to Scandinavia?

How about something akin to a Minimog*?

For the full effect you'll want these;

* It's surprising/disappointing that you can get G-Wagen look kits for a Jimny, VW T2 kits for various vans, but nowt to 'mog owt :(

You've suckered me in with the JOGLE - always tempting for the scenery - and they don't seem too annoying so far. I'll be happy to avoid any ot musings so might not try any others.

Since doing the JOGLE with The MacMaster he seems to have started doing more clickbait video titles. The MacMaster is irritating as fuck but seems to appeal to Youtube's alogorithm because he keeps being promoted to me. Geoff clearly wants a piece of that pie - controversial title and then he reads out some posts from a Facebook group while sitting in his car :lol:
