Decent car YouTubes
Re: Decent car YouTubes
Agreed. I’m not an expert and have way less interest now than I used to, but it feels like Less reliance on aero so cars can follow more effectively and there is a window where the driver can push upto and just beyond available grip levels without disappearing stage left. Engines had power bands whereas today they seem to have power everywhere - Driver mistakes aren’t punished so harshly.

Drivers can follow closely - but the tyres these days are relatively crap and suffer in no time if they do. I think the biggest issues have arisen since they went to one tyre manufacturer.
I didn't like that early '00s era of F1 tbh. The cars looked and sounded wrong to me. Too "wasp in a tin can" and the cars themselves looked too tall with a narrow track and narrow grooved tyres. People also seem to have forgotten how dull it was watching Ferrari win every race.

I’m not sure why Pirelli even bother. Week in week out they show us they can’t make good tyres. Speaks volumes when their 2021 tyre test was so bad that they decided to stick with the old ones.
I don’t think actual overtaking is any better this era, if you ignore DRS where 98% of overtakes are made. The last good battle which lasted more than a few corners that comes to mind would be LeClerc/Verstappen in Silverstone 2019!

How about not having a sig at all?
Re: Decent car YouTubes
This guy usually does reports on £rondinculous luxury yachts.
Re: Decent car YouTubes
Wow if he actually braked instead of flashing his main beams then there wouldn’t be much drama

Re: Decent car YouTubes
Could have squeezed through, and he wasted nearly a second just flashing his lights instead of braking.

And then afterwards sit crawling along at 20mph in the outside lane, waiting for the next nugget to come along at 240kph and flash their lights instead of taking actual action to avoid an incident....
Cheers, Harry

Cheers, will have a look at that.
This is fun... But expensive
Re: Decent car YouTubes
I've no idea how much the parts go for nor the cost of working an aluminium shell but it seems vfm to me (even though I'd prefer a full interior and ac). I'm glad things like this get built
