Auto subscribe

Can it be set so that you're automatically subscribed to topics you've created? Can unsubscribe if needed, but for the first post assume that the OP wants to see responses.

If possible, I'd like that.

The ability to subscribe to threads was probably the only feature the old one had over this one. Then again, without an app to give you a notification, subscribing to a thread to receive a million emails which you then had to delete was pretty annoying.

Doesn't 'Notify Me Upon Replies By Default' in Board Preferences/Edit Posting Defaults do this for you? I certainly don't want to be spammed automatically when I create a thread. Opt-in only!
