Went to see him live a few years ago (probably over a decade in fact) and he was a bit dull on his own. Better at R4 interjections.

I don't think he'd gone public with it. He tweeted something in January about cancer and dying but then brushed it off when people started asking him about it.

One of my news alerts said he was 75. I thought he looked good for it until I realised he was only 57. RIP.
